" I really don't like you doing this. I mean, we're just lawyers." A bright pale yellow gem says. She begins to pace bit before adding, " Besides, we need to stick together!" The gem quickly turns face-to face with partner.
It's been like this for few days now in the household of the Zircons. Ever since the incident with Blue, it's been nothing but complete tension and stress for both gems. It's was very hard for both of them just to keep their emotions intact.
" I don't want that thing to happen to me again, Yellow. Besides, pearls are servant on Homeworld and look at the crystal gem pearl!!" A blue gem replied back, her tone sounded slight annoyed.
" We may not be made for fighting but we got to try."Yellow Zircon gem begins to pace in front of Blue again.
" Why do like to stress me out, Blue? I just want the best for you...."
"I know. I don't mean to do it, I swear..." Blue sighs, " I just want to make sure that at lest one of us can protect each other..."
" Well, you know I still don't fully trust the crystal gems. Even if they have been nice to me in the past." The yellow gem stops pacing and walks over to the window near the door, " I-I just don't know what to feel anymore...."
Blue turns aways from her partner and goes into the spare room to get her sword- A long rapier that peal have gave to her to use. She stares at it for a moment, then quickly left the room and head for the door and opened it.
" P-please be careful..." Yellow mumbled as she continues to stare out the window. Blue Zircon stops in her tracks and turns back to Yellow who is now looking down at the floor.
Now, the blue gem suddenly did feel bit guilty leaving her like this. However, she knows she has to do this, she would hate to see Yellow endue when she had to.
" Yellow, I have to do this. Promise me that we will talk when I get home this after noon?" Blue just stands in place in silence and waits for Yellow to reply.
" I-I guess..." The yellow gem walks slowly over to partner and pulls her into a sudden tight hug. Blue froze out of shock. She smiles and carefully puts her arms around her, trying to not poke her with the sword.
" Mmh, I think we must of switched personalities or something. I never felt this emotional in my entire life... " the Yellow gem whispered.
Blue chuckles and pulls away from Yellow, " I think we did. Well, I better get going. Last time I was late, Pearl gave me hard time."
" Have fun and I'll see you later." Yellow smiles as the love of her leaves her, " I wish you stop maturing faster than me.." she says to herself.
