AU- Earth AU where Yellow never told Blue how she felt.Fake illness slowing tearing them. Totally breaking canon lul. Changed few things around.
Is this is what it feel like to be suffering from a illness. A unbearable pain that just doesn't go away no matter how hard you try? Yellow Zircon doesn't know. She a gem that isn't supposed to get sick. However, she caught something. Flowers, she's been coughing up flowers, all shades of blue with a scatter of yellow ones. How could she though? gems don't need air, gems don't have lungs. Each time she inhales, she cough up these petals. She feels like she being being choked. Someone coiling their fingers around her thin neck and slowly squeezing.
It starting one morning. Yellow Zircon found out Blue Zircon was love with Pearl and after a heated argument, Yellow kicking her out. That when she began to cough up these tiny petals .
As the months past, she wasn't just coughing up the petals, they were now growing on her face and her gem-causing small fractures as the flowers push through.
It got so worse that Yellow became somewhat bed ridden due to completely tiredness and the unbearable pain she felt. She just began to wait alone, waiting for the breaking apart of her and her gemstone.

It was a late November now. Yellow Zircon was lying in bed with a pencil and with a note book writing what she was feeling. That's all she could do for the past six months. Her left side of her face is covered in flowers, so it becoming hard to see to really move around.
Yellow had locked herself from the world from three months ago. She wouldn't let her friends visit her due to her flower illness, she was too scared for help. Tears rolled down the yellow gem's face as she began to write about many things; The experiences on Homeworld, her trip to Earth and her many experiences here in her house and then finally her experiences with her mysterious illness.
Worse thing she couldn't even apologize to Blue for kicking her out.
Blue....
Did she get so mad because she had a crush on her ex-rival? Yellow wasn't sure, but the thought of her caused her to cough up more of those flowers. Maybe the flowers were linked to love? No. Blue didn't love her, if she did before, she didn't anymore.
Yellow winces, now letting go of the notebook and pencil to clutch her own gemstone. She begins to sob at the thought of her friends finding her shards and the many petals around her. She blinks away the tears and just lies down, shutting her eyes and wait. She hopes that Blue is happy. She hopes that she and the other Crystal Gems beat the Diamonds and others gems get to experience the greatness of freedom.
Suddenly, Yellow hears a knock on the front door. She doesn't move nor really has a cares to do so. Though she listens to the voices.
"P-please open up. Me and the others are worried about you!"
" Y-yeah!" It's Blue and her girlfriend.
I guess Blue might see Yellow again after all before her demise. It didn't take long for Blue beat down the door, it only took a total of five minutes. She strong for a defense lawyer. Soon, Yellow felt two arms wrap around and sobs in her ear.
" Yellow, what happen to you?!"
Yellow just sighed and didn't reply. She was glad she could joy this last embrace. Because that was the last thing she felt before poofing one last time.
A shower of petals follows.
