Since Greg' flat was still messy, they had to spend a few days in Mycroft' house. (Y/n) didn't mind. Despite her initial dislike towards him, she came to think he was a great man. Smart, resourceful, helpful... a gentleman. And with sense of humour. She would like to get to know him better.

Right now, they were sitting in older Holmes's living room, sipping tea. (Y/n) on the couch, leaning on her brother's arm, Mycroft occupied the armchair. It was nice, she felt warm and safe.

"... right, (Y/n)?"

"Huh?"

Said girl looked at Greg, confused. She didn't hear him speak. Was she falling asleep?

"Hey, did I wake you?" - the man chuckled softly. Mycroft smiled and she blushed at it.

"It's getting late indeed." - the official said. - "Come, I'll show you to your room."

He stood up and led her upstairs. When she was ready to come in, her companion suddenly stopped her.

"(Y/n)..."

"Yes?"

Suddenly, she found herself in his arms. Shocked at first, she relaxed into the hug just a moment later. What was that feeling?

"... Would you like to join me for dinner tomorrow?"

"Of course, Mycroft."

He kissed her forehead and left, leaving her smiling.
