(Y/n) walked into Sherlock's living room to see her brother sleeping on the couch. He hadn't gone home last night. She looked at him - he had tear stains on his cheeks. She remembered their argument from the evening.

"You're not going to do that" - Lestrade said. (Y/n) felt an urge to scream. Instead, she just shook her head. He still didn't understand.

"Tomorrow you're going with me to the Yard and that's final."

"No."

Greg looked at his sister in disbelief. What did those Holmes men do to her? She was always the one to stay out of trouble, not to dive into them head first.

(Y/n) was shocked to see tears in her brother's eyes. Greg was though, she had never seen him cry. Even earlier, when she had told him about their mother, he remained stone - faced. So, why now?

Lestrade sat at the table and hid his face in his hands. She sat next to him.

"... Greg?"

"Why?! Why do you want to risk your life so badly? I can protect you... I can't lose you like we lost our parents!"

Oh yeah. She remembered. He was the one who had found their father, dead. He was murdered, police had said it was a burglary. But with what she knew now, Alfred had had something to do with this...

The woman sighed.

"Greg, I understand. But you can't protect me all my life. I don't want to spend the rest of my days looking behind my back. He would get me eventually. With Holmes' help, we have a chance to get rid of him. I have to try. For us... for our parents."

                                                 ***************************************

(Y/n) covered him with a blanket. She looked at her watch - it was the time they decided to start. Sherlock and Watson had already walked out. She pinned a microphone to her blouse and said:

"Are you there?"

When Mycroft confirmed, she walked out. Time to start the game...
