N- Dan and Zoe always only see each other at conventions or YouTube events and they weren't that close.
N- Zoe one day, just like Felix had those strange feelings, she didn't understand it and she found a way to get into Dan's apartment and she found him laying on the floor crying she grabbed him, with his eyes covered and left him there tied up.
N- Zoe didn't want to hurt him but just 'get him back'. And she left.
You later found him, good thing it was only an hour later.
-Your POV-
You wonder how Dan is doing, if he's okay. You were out shopping so you thought to stop by. You get there and notice the door was open. He never leaves his door open and when you go in you see Dan struggling to get out.
Y/N- "What happened!"
D- "I don't know, I was just sitting here and someone got in and tied me here."
You decide you are going to ask Dan if you can stay with him and he says whatever you want.
Ok, I'm sorry it's not really about Zoe and more your POV and helping Dan but, I thought it would give it that feel of you helping him.
