Dan's Reasons Why

You and the universe

N- Since you and Dan kissed you felt awkward taking and thinking about him. You loved and cared for Dan but, you couldn't take it.

D- "Hey I'm sorry for what happened."
Y/N- " It wants you fault it's okay, don't worry about Dan."
D- "Are you sure?"
Y/N- "Yes, we're cool."
-In your head-
I know it's coming, I'm dreading leaving Dan. It's coming. I don't want to talk about it because he's say he's fine and change the topic. That's Dan for you, and talking about it wouldn't make it better because you weren't fine with Dan you still felt a little awkward around him.

-Back to reality-
Y/N- "Dan."
D- "Yes?"
Y/N- "Are you okay? Like you seem depressed?"
D- "No why?"
N- You knew he was lying that's what Dan does. Taking all the attention off of him.
Y/N- "Daniel James Howell, you're not okay. I've known you since we were about 5, we are both 26. I've known you for 21 years. And if you lie to me again. I wouldn't take 'I'm Fine' for an answer. You are not okay. We all know it. Just say it. You are depressed, lonely, and sui....."
N- Before you could continue you stopped yourself. Dreading what the answer would be if you did.
D- "Stop, Y/N I'm fine."
Y/N- "Stop lying to yourself Dan. You are not fine. I can tell when you're sad, happy, mad, confused, and uncomfortable, and more by just looking at you. Your body movement can say it all."
D- "Actually stop, I'm fine."
Y/N- "Dan. Are you."
D- "What?"
Y/N- "Dan. Are you suicidal?"
N- The both of you looks at each other. You are regretting what you just said but, you know it was for the best. And Dan he looks at you disappointed.
D- "What no."
Y/N- "Can you take a hint. I already said it just accept it. Honestly."
N- You say as you walk out.
-In your mind-
Wait no. I can't leave Dan alone. It might happen, you never know. So, you decide to keep checking up on Dan. Dan doesn't respond because he's only using his computer and charging his Pond on his bedside table.

-Dan-
Am I? No. Just go to bed and it'll all be better. You know yourself Dan, better then Y/N. So dork, don't listen to her. You are better then that.

Yes you are a female, get over it.
