Why Now (Juuzou x reader)

New recruit

You and Juuzou were at the CCG since there was a new recruit joining you in the 20TH ward so Shinohara insisted you meet her

??: I heard they're really strong will they still be nice?

Shinohara: oh don't worry their really immature they may seem scary at first but once you get to know them their pretty nice just don't bring up death or anything like that

??: how come?

Shinohara: you won't like what they'll say about it

She nodded as they walk down the hall

??: some people call them the CCG's Jason I've heard about him he's S-rated right? do they really have fun killing ghouls?

Shinohara: Jason was killed by Juuzou so no need to worry about him but neither of them can feel pain and they've been physically tortured by what they called "parents"

??: oh I-I didn't know

Shinohara: it's alright it takes some time to fully understand them but I know you guys will work out

They arrived at the door Shinohara knocked before opening the door they both walked in seeing you and Juuzou on the couch back to back with bored expressions

Shinohara: Ryoko meet the CCG'S Jason's

You: hmm so this is the new recruit helping us in the 20TH ward?

Ryoko: h-hi I'm Ryoko Himono it's nice to meet you I'll try my best to be a great teammate

Juuzou: we've heard about you but you're a lot quieter than we thought

You: yea hopefully your not too scared of ghouls

You both stick your tongue at her she whimpered a bit thinking you guys already didn't like her

Shinohara: now guys this is your new teammate you can at least make her feel welcome

You: oh sorry we didn't think she'd act like that *leans head on Juuzou's* well I'm Y/n I'm pretty sure you know my last name but just call me Y/n

Juuzou: and I'm Juuzou maybe we can all be friends

Ryoko: y-yea

Shinohara: well I'll let you guys get acquainted

He left you guys alone Ryoko stood at the door eyeing Juuzou witch you noticed

You: so Ryoko do you like candy?

Ryoko: well I don't eat candy much but I will say I like it

Juuzou: great we have a whole bag of it

You jump off the couch going in the corner of the room grabbing your bag that now has about 60 different kinds of candy

Ryoko: woah how did you get all that!?

Juuzou: well most of the candy was hers until we both went out and bought almost all the candy from every candy store in the 20TH ward

You: and we're still working on it now

Ryoko: but with all this candy you guys will get cavities

You: it's alright Mr. Shinohara is making us brush every day now

Juuzou: no matter how much we don't want to

Ryoko: but shouldn't that be your job?

Juuzou: we hate the taste of toothpaste so we never brush but Mr. Shinohara says it's good to brush our teeth so they all won't fall out

Ryoko: but they will all fall out if you don't brush without teeth you won't be able to eat candy

You: that's how he made us brush on our own

Juuzou: enough about teeth, candy time

You both dug in but Ryoko stood they're kinda weirded out

You: aren't you gonna eat some?

Ryoko: no thanks

Juuzou: suit yourself

You both continued eating with Ryoko rubbing her arm

Ryoko: you guys are really close siblings huh?

You both swallow your mouth full of candy and giggle

You: we're not siblings

Ryoko: your not? but you both look and act so alike

Juuzou: no no we're dating we may look and act alike but we have some differences

You: and we don't look that much alike Juuzou's hair is white mine is h/c

Juuzou: my eyes are red hers are e/c

You: but other than the stitches and pale skin we don't look that much alike

Ryoko: oh my bad you guys dating would have been my last thought

You: weird it's usually everyone's first

Juuzou: yeah

Ryoko:  I guess I'm different

You: yeah but different is good I guess

Juuzou: yeah different isn't so bad

You: ooh Yoko-chan we have to scout the south side of the 20TH ward we heard there was a lot of toys around there

Ryoko: Yoko-chan?

You: your name seems too long to me so I gave you a nickname

Ryoko: oh I guess that's alright

You: I can't wait to play with the toys right Juuzou

Juuzou: mmhmm

Ryoko: toys?

You: oh ghouls I mean hehe sorry

Ryoko: well okay when should we go?

You: maybe a little later we haven't had candy in a while

Juuzou: we'll tell you when we're ready just make yourself at home around here
