Blonde stripper

I hadn't received a text from him all night.

None at all in the morning either. It could either have been a good or bad thing. But I know he had a good reason to skip the morning text sessions, getting into character as the Joker with the makeup and everything took him several hours.

Meanwhile, I stared back at myself in the mirror. These makeup artists had talent, that was for sure. Today, I was a stripper. Not my job of choice but it was for the movie and David was desperate. The only blonde extra he was relying on for this particular part had a stomach virus and there needed to be improvisations done for me to fill the part of 'blonde stripper'.

I stared at the wig in front of me. Blonde, straight, gorgeous. But I had reservations about it. Having experimented with blonde dyes, I'd never been THAT blonde before.

The hair stylist behind me grabbed the wig and put it on my head, adjusting it and giving it that natural look. I couldn't help but smile, it was actually perfect! I felt good about it.

"Wow, you look damn hot!" She smirked as she twirled around and began putting her supplies away. I took a deep breath and got off the chair. I was in a thin robe. It basically covered the over-the-top barely-there clothing I had on. Looking up at the clock I saw how the timing had been perfect. I was on time to start filming exactly when they'd needed me to.

As I walked closer to the set, my eyes lingered around, hoping to see Jared anywhere around the area. But he was nowhere to be found. Normally his neon green hair in the sea of browns and blondes would give him away but not today. There was no sign of anything green in sight.

I sighed and walked up to David, who nodded and held his arms out when he saw me.

"Ahh my blonde stripper! You're a lifesaver Liz, you know that?" He said as he grabbed my shoulder and smiled at me.

"I know David, I kinda get why no one wanted to do it! This wig is kinda annoying," I said while laughing. I was being serious though, I needed to get it off as soon as I had the chance to leave.

"Well, you'll be done soon, this scene won't be a whole day ordeal. Just cooperate and you'll be the first outta here," he said as he handed me a script.

I glanced over it as I walked to one of the couches. Sitting down I flipped through the pages.

Um...

My scenes in particular involved direct contact with the Joker. In fact, my entire role was centered around him. I was his muse!

I didn't know what it was, luck or fate, but all I could wonder at this point was whether or not he was aware of this.

Of me playing that role opposite him.

Suddenly, things were gonna get interesting. I couldn't help feel excitement brewing in the pit of my stomach. It was either that or nervousness.

I stood up quickly after reading over my lines. Nothing too difficult. As I took a step forward, I looked ahead of me and saw him. HIM.

The man I had given myself to the day before.

I felt my body heat up at the memory. I quickly pushed my thoughts away as I walked towards a pole in the center of the set. Undoing the knot to my robe, I let it fall free on the ground, exposing my nearly naked body. As I clutched the pole, I swung myself around it with ease, positioning myself the way the script had been written. At this point, I felt alot of eyes on me.

But the one set of eyes that I really felt to my core was Jared's. From the corner of my eye, I saw his eyes glued to me, mouth slightly agape as David was holding a script up next to him and talking to him. You could tell Jared wasn't listening though.

David looked at Jared to see if he was following along and at that instant, he snapped out of it. With a nod, David walked behind the camera while I saw Jared walk slowly up to me.

With each step he took, I could feel my heart pounding against my chest. Oh god, he had noticed me.

But did he know it was ME? Or was he just trying to hit on every girl he saw on set?

Wouldn't surprise me.

I had my back turned to him at this point, hoping he wouldn't recognize me, though I knew eventually we'd have to converse during the movie. I felt his presence behind me as he stood below the platform I stood on.

"You look...stunning," he breathed out. I could hear him practically panting while he gawked at my exposed rear. Deciding to make the best of this encounter, I slowly spun around the pole, looking down at him.

"What can I do for ya, Mister J?" I said my line as best as I could, knowing we weren't filming yet.

His eyes bore into mine as he chuckled. The grin on his face made his approval apparent.

"You...are just something else." He said as he looked up and down my body. When our eyes met a second time, he stopped smiling.

I knew he recognized me

I knew he recognized me.

"Nice to see you again, J," I said seductively, leaning down and giving him a nice eyeful of my cleavage. He was frozen. Looking up to the blonde wig, he gave me a sly smile and leaned in as well.

"That wig is a nice touch dollface, I got a thing for blonde's." He winked and walked to his assigned seat. I looked seductively to him as I spun around once more on the pole, positioning myself as well.

David stood up as soon as we were all ready.

"Camera's 1, 2, and 3. Ready. Alright guys, cue music!....And...ACTION!"
