Warning: I have no idea what going through a night terror actually is like. There are probably errors that are made about night terrors. Contains cutting and depression (nothing too bad, mostly fluff.).

Thomas laid in bed, staring up at the ceiling. Something didn't feel right, and he knew something was going to happen. It was already midnight, yet the nagging feeling still lay as awake as he did. His mind was sharp despite the lack of sleep he was getting.

'Was Innocentia going to do something evil? But what would she do? She always talks about staying up late at night, but she only says it's either to catch up on work or watch something that she's really invested into. What would she even do if she was planning something evil?' His mind rambled onward, reminding him more of Innocentia.

Thomas was alert of everything, ready to jump into action if needed.

He heard the expected right from his watch and snatched it off of his beside drawer, tapping the button on the side. His boss, Robbie, showed up as a red glowing hologram.

'Something big is happening,' Thomas thought, 'Red is reserved for dangerous emergencies. What did Innocentia do?' "Thomas!" His boss's voice snapped him out of his thoughts. He looked at his boss's hologram to see it was currently glaring at him.

Thomas smiled sheepishly before sobering, listening intently on what he had to say. Robbie cleared his throat before saying, "Max just looked through the security cameras in Innocentia's home and saw that she was standing on the balcony. Just standing there, seemingly staring off into space. We have no idea what she's thinking or doing, but we want you to go over there and see what she's doing."

His boss's hologram disappeared and he climbed out the window, jumping onto the grass. As he made his way to Innocentia's building, he couldn't help but wonder why exactly she was standing on the balcony. She may have been hungry, or she was contemplating her life while staring at the moon. Thomas shook his head.

He was going to find out anyway.

He skidded to a stop in front of Innocentia's building. Since it was midnight  and no one would probably answer him, he shot his grappling hook up to Innocentia's balcony. Thomas looked up at the balcony to see no sign of her anywhere. It was strange; she was probably just here a minute ago.

He jumped onto the platform and tested out the glass sliding door. Surprisingly, it was unlocked. Thomas was even more puzzled. Why had she left the door unlocked? She always talked about being careful and locking up every single opening to her apartment. He carefully slid the door open and closed it shut.

He shuffled through the dark living room, careful not to bump into anything. He stopped for a minute as he put his hand onto the wall. Maybe she had already gone to bed, and was asleep. Maybe she was just on the balcony because she was just on the balcony. Thomas was compelled to turn around and go back home to catch some sleep.

He looked between his two options, the balcony to leave or the bedroom to stay. (No, that's not a dirty innuendo, it's literally exactly what it says.) He pushed aside his indecisiveness and made his way towards her bedroom

The door opened without a sound. She wasn't here either.

Thomas looked at the bed and was surprised to find it neatly made. He closed the door and made his way back towards her living room. There was one other place she could've gone: the kitchen. She probably just woke up to get a midnight snack.

He peeked inside the kitchen to find a silhouette standing there, darker than the shadows surrounding it. It looked as though it was holding something, something that was shinier than everything else. His stomach started to churn and he held down his nervous feelings. He felt around on the wall before finding the light switch and hitting it.
