Chapter 15:

The next day, I got up to go to school. It was already 6:00 am.

I quickly changed my outfit and did my hair. I looked at myself in the mirror and walked downstairs.

"Hey, honey. Ready?" My mom asked when I came down. I nodded. I figured I needed real friends.

As soon as we got in the car, I looked through the back mirror and sighed.

During the whole ride, I thought about the same things over and over again.

I looked at the school through the mirror when we got there.

She stopped the car and kissed my forehead. "Have a great day, honey. I will pick you up when you are out."

I nodded and got out. I saw when she drove off. I sighed and looked at the school.

I held my things tight as I walked in. I looked at the class board to see what class I had to go to.

As soon as I saw my name, I went looking for the class. I wasn't really paying attention to where I was walking because I was looking around.

I then suddenly bumped into someone, causing to drop all my stuff.

I looked down to my stuff as I got up and looked at the boy I bumped into.

"I'm terribly sorry, I wasn't looking." he said as he picked up my stuff, handing them to me.

I nodded and smiled softly. "Thank you and it's okay. I wasn't looking either." I replied.

He smiled lightly and nodded, looking at me. "I'm Melanie." I said and he nodded lightly.

"My name is Dylan." He replied "Nice to meet you." (Yes, Dylan Collins)

I smiled. "I'm looking for class 23." I said. He smiled a little. "Well, I am too. We can walk together?" he suggested.

"Sure, I would love to get to know you. You seem really nice." I said with a smile.

He smiled back and nodded. "I mean, I am a really shy boy, but I like making friends. Even if I was not used to it."

I nodded, looking at him. "I will sure be glad to be your friend." I replied, as I started walking, with him walking by my side.
