Chapter 1

Melanie's POV

Today, my parents told me that we were gonna move houses. I didn't know how the house would look like. My parents just told me that it was a good house to live in. I packed my stuff to leave and when we were done packing, we left.

I am gonna miss the house but im sure ill live a good life in the new house. Im sure ill find friends like in this house. When we got there, I looked at it. I mean, it wasn't that bad. I really like the house.

I went inside to unpack in my new room. I started to put what I had in my old room. This room is more bigger so I had a lot of space to put what I had in my old room.

When I was done, I was checking out the whole house out. When I was walking around, I saw a little door on the floor. I was curious to know what was down there. I was gonna open the little door when someone sneaked up behind me.

"Honey, what are you doing?" My mom asked me. "Nothing mom. I just wanted to check what is down there" My mom stared at me. "Sweetie, I don't want you to go down there. There might be rats or other little bugs ok?" She said.

I just looked at her. "Yea mom. Ok" She smiled and kissed my forehead. She went to the kitchen while I was just staring at the door. I stared at it for a couple minutes. After a while, I went back to my room.

At night, I brushed my teeth to go to bed. I was in my room ready to go to sleep. I got in my bed and was awake for a while and then closed my eyes to fall asleep. I heard a noise infront of me that made me open my eyes.

When I opened my eyes, I saw a boy infront of me. He had black hair and brown eyes. He was pretty cute. "Well hello" The boy said. I was just staring at him. "Um... Hello" I said. He smiled at me. "You probably don't know me. Im Milo" He said, still smiling.

I smiled at him back. "Im.. Melanie" I said. "Well Melanie, im here to show you something. Please follow me" He said. I got up of my bed. I followed him to the little basement door that I wanted to check.

"What do you want to show me?" I asked him. He looked at me. "You'll see. Its a surprise" He said and opened the basement door. He pulled out a chest and opened it. In there, there was a projector. "What is this?" I asked.

"Im gonna show you some films" He said. I saw some kids coming out of the darkness. "Hello" A boy said. "Im Ted, how about you?" He asked. "Im Melanie" I said.

A girl with a hat was just staring at me. "Im Emma" She said. Another boy said, "Im Peter" and another little girl with red hair said, "Im Catherine. Nice to meet you, Melanie" I smiled at them.

"Well, we are gonna show you films. Ted, get yours first" Milo said. Ted went and got something from a box. It was a film. "This is mine" Ted said. I got it and it said, 'Fishing Trip' I looked at Ted. "What do I do with it?" I asked.

Milo smiled. "Well, give it to me. Ill put it on" He said. So I gave it to him. He was putting it on. When it started, It was a family having fun fishing. Ted was also there. They were having so much fun.

The film then got to a part. It was nighttime. The whole family was tied up upside down with bags in their heads. There were crocodiles in the water. Suddenly, a crocodile jumps up and eats a person that was tied up.

I felt scared. "What is this?" I asked Milo. He smiled. "No need to be scared, Melanie. Its a film that we wanted you to see but you still need 4 more" He said

"No I can't watch this anymore, Milo" I said. I ran up and left to my room and got in my bed and put the covers on top of me.

Milo is really cute. I thought he was a good person. I had to help those kids. They aren't who they were before. They killed their family. I had to help them. I also had to help Milo. I really like him...
