"WAKE UP, YOU BAKA OF A HIME!" Shiroukami shouted from the bottom of her heart, and instead of waiting for a reaction from her jinchuuriki, she grabbed the blanket and pulled it swiftly, dragging the silverette off the bed. Akimi yelped, instantly face-planting on the floor.

She blew a strand of hair out of her face and grumbled. Akimi pushed herself off of the floor and walked to the bathroom, not even bothering to say anything and just sent an 'I hate you' glare at the wolf-bijuu who snickered. "Love you too, Aki-baka!" Shiroukami teased warmly, grinning all the while. Akimi just glared yet her cheeks glowed warm and her lips were twitching to form a smile. But she huffed, pointedly looking away from the wolf and stomped to her bathroom.

Once the heiress disappeared to the bathroom, Asudo hands shout out from his pockets and instantly grabbed the back of Shiroukami's kimono collar before she could dash out of the room. His scarlet eyes were narrowed and staring blankly at the wolf. "Shiroukami-san..."

"Hai?" she blinked innocently, a smile on her face as her ears twitched a couple of times. The dragon-bijuu just deadpanned. He knew what the wolf was planning, and there was no way he would allow it to happen. So without further ado-

"No."

"Oh, come on!" Shiroukami groaned, throwing her arms up in the air as a sign of 'I give up' and 'you got me'. "But can't I cook at least once?!"

"Sorry, but my answer is still a no."

Shiroukami pouted, blowing a raspberry. 'No fair...'

Akimi stretched her arms, yawing under mask as she headed towards the academy after talking with the Hokage since had she forgot to report to him yesterday. Well, she was occupied by being invited by Shikamaru. Rubbing the small tears on her eyes, she greeted the other students with a wave, never noticing some blushes from the boys and girls. Shiroukami just snickered quietly at how her jinchuuriki was so oblivious (yet inwardly glad), and Asudo sighed, but amusement was on his eyes.

Sliding the door open, Akimi was greeted by the sight of almost half the students (more like all) staring at her. The silverette blinked, cocking her head slightly and noticed some of their faces turning a bit red. She felt worry inside her, was something wrong? She didn't look too bad, did she? Akimi was wearing the same kimono she had yesterday, and her hair was tied into a messy bun by Shiroukami. It wasn't too bad, was it?

Sadly, they were only staring at her appearance and thought how good she looked.

"Akimi," the silverette turned her head and was met with the Nara's half-lidded gaze filled with slight amusement, a lazy smirk in place. She didn't know why he was amused but smiled underneath her mask nonetheless and approached him, signaling for her to sit beside him if his pointing thumb to the seat beside him was not obvious.

Sitting just beside the Nara, Akimi faced him and gave a closed eye-smile, briefly pushing her bangs for a moment and inwardly pouted when it covered her left eye once again. She really needed to fix that, though it was quite useful. "Good morning, Shikamaru-kun." She greeted, playing with her sleeves for a quick while and adjusting the bandages underneath.

Shikamaru smirked lazily, resting his cheek on his hand as he stared at his new shogi partner's purple eye. "You too, troublesome partner."

Akimi pouted under her mask and lightly punched him on his shoulder. "Oi, you don't have to call me that." When playing with Shikamaru yesterday, both had made a deal with each other. Shikamaru allowed her to call him 'Shikamaru-kun' and Akimi accepted his request to become his new 'shogi partner' and play with no complaint when he asked anytime and anywhere.
