NARUTO
Akimi's POV///
"YEAH!" Naruto shouted happily, a huge grin plastered on his face.
"What are you getting excited about Naruto?" Sakura-chan asked, hands on her hips.
"Is this your first time leaving the village, Naru-kun?" I asked. He nodded and grinned.
"I'm finally a traveler, 'ttebayo!" I chuckled and patted his head, he blushed lightly but grinned anyway. Though, Sasuke and Sakura glared at the hyper blonde.
"Am I really supposed to trust this runt with my life? He's nothing but a joke!" Tazuna insulted, pointing at the blonde jinchūriki. Naruto glared at him and Kakashi just smiled behind his mask.
"Don't bother with him. I'm a Jounin, so there's nothing to worry about," Tazuna looked at Kakashi before pointing a finger at me. "When she's here, there's nothing to worry about," Kakashi looked at me in suspicion. I just shrugged innocently and gave an eye-smile.
I tuned out most of Naruto and Tazuna's arguement. About him being Hokage and how he's a puny brat. I sighed, "Saa, guys. How about we continue the mission...." I muttered, they looked at me and nodded.
NARUTO
After finally starting our journey to the Land of Waves, I watched as Sakura questioned Tazuna and Kakashi some stuff. Sasuke was walking beside me for whatever reason. I glanced at him and noticed he was staring at me. He looked away in embarrassment for being caught. I silently chuckled and shrugged.
As we were walking, I had sense that two ninja's were following us since we left Konoha's gates. I blinked. I saw a puddle on the middle of the ground and raised a brow in amusement.
'These ninja's are pathetic. Do they really think we'd never notice?' Asudo huskily laughed. Shirō-chan laughed along with him while I grinned at his comment.
'You're very right, Asudo-sama! I mean seriously? A puddle? It hasn't even rained for weeks... And it's broad daylight,' Shirokami snorted.
I glared at the puddle before glancing at Kakashi. He noticed and gave me a smirk behind his mask. He knows...
I pretended to act normal and took out a kunai. I twirled it around my finger rapidly before 'accidentally' dropping it into the puddle. I secretly added some lighting and grinned in triumph as I heard a grunt of pain.
When we walked past it, I heard chains.
"What?!!" Kakashi acted surprised as chains were wrapped around his entire body. The Demon Brothers pulled the chains and Kakashi was 'killed'. I looked on in amusement. I knew that was a clone. The real Kakashi was hiding in the trees. Sakura-chan screamed in fear.
"K-Kakashi-sensei!!" Naruto shouted in fear.
The two ninja's rushed forward an started attacking us. I quickly created a shadow clone to stay near Naruto as the other ninja came towards me. I snatched the guys wrist as he tried to swipe me with his poison claw. I punched him in the face, making him fly back to a tree creating a dent on it. He cried out in pain. I sighed in relief when I noticed Sasuke taking care of the others as Sakura protected Tazuna.
"Now you're dead!" The others looked at me in fear that I might get hurt while I boredly stood there, raising an eyebrow.
"AKIMI!!" They cried out in fear, surprisingly Sasuke too.
I activated one of my Kekkei Genkai and raised my hand, "Flower Style: Rose Vine Whip!" A long vine-like rope, covered in roses and vey sharp thorns appeared in my hands. I swung it to the ninja, lashing around his body with it. I watched as it made contact all over his body. He shouted in pain and slumped to the ground.
