NARUTO

Third POV///

"Akimi-chan! You woke up!" Sakura exclaimed in relief, getting everyone's attention. Her head was down and her posture seemed relaxed, breathing slowly. Her blue and gold chakra visible, flaring around her gracefully.

"Akimi-chan....." Ino mutters slowly, staring at the chakra around Akimi in awe as it dances around her.

There seemed to be dark markings turning red around Akimi, but it disappeared before anyone could notice.

Then, the silverette raised her head up and blinked multiple times before looking around her. She noticed her team and Team 9 with injuries around their bodies and Sakura's cut off hair. She examined them before snapping her head to Dosu's direction, "You did this, didn't you?"

Dosu shivered at her cold, hard chilling voice. Fear was installed and it grew more in him as he kept staring at Akimi's menacing glare.

"Aki-chan....are you alright?" Naruto asked slowly, but quietly. Akimi looked at Naruto and her eyes visibly softened. She nodded at him. Naruto sighed in relief before giving Akimi a huge grin and two thumbs-up. She grinned under her mask before glaring at Dosu again, "Don't worry, Naru-kun. I'm alright."

Dosu was looking at Akimi in horror. The realization that they had been used to test Akimi was now hitting home.

"I will ask again.... Did you do this to my teammates," Akimi demands instead of asking. Her voice eerily calm.

"I did." Zaku answered, smirking.

Akimi's gaze snaps to Zaku and said, "Mess with my friends, you mess with me!" Before disappearing. Zaku looks around, waiting for her to appear. Suddenly, he was sent crashing into a tree; Akimi had kicked Zaku in the back with a chakra-filled kick. A sickening crack echoed through the forest. Zaku was cradling his leg that he had landed very badly on. Akimu appeared before him again and this time, she stabbed his both of his arms with her sai's. Zaku cried out in agony, the pain of both arms being stabbed deeply was the most painful thing he had ever felt.

'I'd rather finish this off quickly.' Akimi thought to herself.

Akimi jumped back, landing softly on the ground. She sighed, "This is what you deserve for hurting my friends, fool." Her last word was dark and filled with authority. The other's had shivers down their spine at the tone. Before Zaku could get up, Akimi flashed before him and easily hit a pressure point in his neck, causing him to go limp to the floor.

She then turns to Dosu, "If you want to live with your friend here, I suggest you leave. Now." She snarled as she made her way towards Dosu, purposely walking slow for fear to arise, which worked.

Dosu nodded before picking up Kin and Zaku. While he was getting his teammates, Akimi collapsed to her knees, exhausted. Her eyes closed shut as she tried to regulate her breathing. Sasuke noticed first, "Akimi!" He directly ran to her side and supported her, letting the silverette lean on his chest. The Uchiha blushed lightly at the contact, ignoring some glares on his back. Naruto and Sakura later followed after Sasuke, "Akimi/Aki-chan!"

Akimi opened her galaxy-purple orbs and stared at them, raising an arm like a certain copy-cat, "Yo. Did I miss anything?" Sakura and Naruto laughed at that. Sasuke smirked. They have, after all, missed her silly jokes when in battle.

Nearby, Shikamaru shook his head with a smirk. Choji smiled while Ino grinned happily. Akimi sure knows how to lighten up the mood.

"You're strong," Dosu commented, picking up Zaku and Kin. He placed his Earth Scroll onto the ground, "We cannot defeat you, Akimi-chan. Please excuse us for now." With that, Dosu walked away.
