{seventeen.}

"I love you Jisoo" said Jinyoung, who had been trying to get the said girl's attention over a month now "do you love me?"

The petite girl looked up with embarrassment of what she was about to say next. She inhaled deeply and mustered the words out with shaky mouth "I'm sorry Jinyoung-ah... But I-I can't force my-sel-f to l-love someone I don't-"

"Fine, you don't need to turn this into a lecture" the boy said coldly. He put on the hood of his oversized black hoodie, while sharply turning around and walking away from the extremely guilty-feeling girl.

But he didn't see how girl hit herself and muttered 'stupid' again and again.

"Jinyoung" Jaebum said as he handed the soda can to the taller, plopping down on the couch, next to Youngjae and reaching for the remote to turn the TV on.

"hm?" Jinyoung answered snapping out of the daze "Jinyoung are you sure you don't want anything else?"

It was silent. That loud silence filling the room instantly.

Suddenly, Jinyoung bursted out crying, bawling, sobbing and chanting inaudible words.

Jaebum and Youngjae looked at each other, before spooning Jinyoung into a tight embrace. Youngjae rubbed his back, while holding his waist and Jaebum let him bury his face into the crook of his neck to cry on, while, he too, held his waist.

"All I wan- all I wanted- w-as t-to l-lo-" he tried to say between hiccups, but stopped trying to talk when Youngjae started whispering soothing 'shh'

"Jaebummie, go get him water ne?"

The male nodded as he made his way to the kitchen quickly to calm down his, now, broken friend.

Jinyoung was a mess for 2 weeks now, but Jaebum and Youngjae stayed with him the whole time.

His days became a display of a repetitive cycle.

Waking up feel like crying

Eating breakfast feel like vomiting

Taking a shower feel like choking

Watching a TV feel like screaming

Playing on phone feel like shaking

Thinking feel like braking

Cleaning feel like harming

Going to sleep feel like dying

And it repeated over and over and over again. Mark and Jackson couldn't do anything, but to silently watch.

"Just why? there must be a reason Jinyoung!" the woman on the other line said "you like Seoul so much! why come back to Changwon?"

"Mom... I just... need time to think" the boy said swallowing the lump in his throat.

Jinyoung decided to head back to his mother's house in Changwon. After the rejection, he needed to breathe, because his plans were harshly broken after Jisoo said two words 'I'm sorry'

Before the horrific confronting, they planned on moving in together as roommates, as friends. Jinyoung imagined their first date, their first anniversary, their second anniversary, he loved her so much, that he even imagined his wedding proposal.

Thinking about it, was making Jinyoung want to cry, again.

He was standing next to railing, waiting for the train with a suitcase. No one came with him, because he just texted them few minutes ago. He knew, if they were here, they'd make him feel as if he's leaving to the military.

But his thoughts soon were interrupted, when he heard the familiar voice calling behind.

"Jinyoung! Jinyoung!" he turned around to see Jisoo tripping and almost falling because she was sprinting faster then she thought she could.

He wanted to hug her, but his pride was chaining him on the place "Jisoo? what are you doing here- why aren't you wearing a jacket?! It's freezing!"

He couldn't help but feel concerned. Jisoo was only wearing a shirt, her nose red from cold and all that running.

"Youngjae tex- texted me" she panted, trying to catch her breath "don't go!.. Jinyoung! Come on!"

Jinyoung's blood boiled "you ask me to do that, yet you're the one who caused this! your rejection tore me apart!"

Jisoo wasn't surprised, so Jinyoung figured that she knew already "I know, I'm sorry, I lied..."

"What?"

"I was... I... I don't know what happened to me, I like you too Jinyoung, I love you too Jinyoung..."

There was silence, until... "agh you messed me up so bad, just to say those words..." he said before pulling her into a tight hug. Hoping that it'd warm her up.

There was a noise heard, signaling that train was near "have to call my mom, I'm not going to Changwon anytime soon"
