REKINDLE

There are so many doors laid in front of me, waiting to be opened. But I must not be confused because You are the one who would show me which should I choose. And, dear God, when I open that door and my heart would feel fretful and anxious, please remind me that it is the path that You have in mind for me. That I should take a step and finish that journey because, through it, I'll grow.

Remind me that You are my GPS, Lord; that I would never be lost because You are with me and that I should not feel lost because I am with You. And that You are the one who is in control.

And though the path ahead is dark and rocky, You would be there-- walking with me. You would catch me when I stumble and hold my hand when I doubt. So, I would move forward with You, Lord. Even when my heart couldn't see what lies ahead and even when my mind couldn't understand; even when I am so blinded by my own thoughts. For You are my eyes and You are my light-- You can see what's beyond the darkness and deception and Your understanding is far vast than mine.

Be my courage, Dear Jesus, be my strength. So that I may go through deep ranging oceans and unlit withering valleys. Make my spirit kind so I may sacrifice everything for Your sovereign name. Bless me with the bravery that I may follow You and be Your instrument.

Remind me, Oh, Lord! that You, and You alone, are the reason why I am here, fighting in this world. That everything I do is for Your glory. Because You are all I need to stand up over and over when I fall. You are all I need to take a step forward. You are all I need, dear God...

And though the path ahead is hard, I know that You will be with me every step of the way. And You will be my strength. You will be my light. You will be my GPS.

"He guides me along the right paths, for His name's sake.
