Today I had a softball game! Which I was excited cause Why Don't We my favorite band will be singing the National Anthem!! But the thing I was most excited that the team gets to meet them!!
I hoped into the shower and my mom did my hair cause she's a hairstylist! She did my hair likes this

We drove to the field and saw the boys there. My heart started pounding . I got out of the car all normal, and tried not to make a fool out of myself. I realized that Jack looked at me when I got out of the car and did what ever he was doing.
My mom walked over to where the other softball mom's were and sat down with them.
"Hey Layla!" The coach said "What's up?" I said ''So we changed you and Sammy to switch places, so You will be pitching first and sammy will be first base,then the next inning Sammy would pitch and your in first base, sounds good?" I nodded.
"Ladies and gentlemen please stand up while Why Don't We sings our National Anthem"
The 2 teams lined up and put their hands on their chest.
- Why don't we sings National Anthem-
When they finished everyone clapped their hands,and wentbto taken seat on the front row.
We started the game and my team was first to batting.
I went to batting thingy and got ready for the first pitch. When I walked towards the thingy I saw Corbyn,Zach,Daniel,And Jonah making fun of Jack for some reason. And then I realize that Jonah was poniting at me. I kinda blushed a little bit.
The pitcher pitched and I messed the first time. Again, the pitcher pitched for the second time and I hit it. I watched it go and go and HOME RUN!
I made it through all the bases and HOME RUN! Everybody kept patting me.
-Skip to 9th inning-
All the bases were not full and I was in 2nd base. I decided to steal a base. I got into my position,My team members saw me and yelled and nodded their heads no! The pitcher had the ball in hand. I decided to run!
I ran and I saw the pitcher look at me and threw the ball to the 3rd base girl, but the girl didn't catch it and I just ran to home run! It was 9-5 And it was the last inning,My team was winning! And the game was over.
"HOW DID YOU STEAL THAT BASE!!!???" the coach said.
I just laughed. The why don't we boys walked over to me with Jack in the front all shy.
"Hey Layla! I was just wondering if i could get your number, If that's ok,If not that's ok?" I wanted to scream Jack Avery was asking me for my number!!!!!!!!!! I nodded and gave him my phone number. He walked to the other boy who were all celebrating.
It was a long night my team won the gsme,and I got pizza and ice cream, and Got JACK AVERYS PHONE NUMBER!! How much I love this day!
