Kristys POV
When I wake up the next morming Im in an unfamiliar room. I sit up and look around, then I remember Andrew took me to his house last night.
Then the memories of the man flood through my mind. The blood, the hole in his head. It was so red, so terrible. I still feel the dread of it all deep in my chest. Tears begin falling silently down my hot cheeks. This weekend was definitely strange.
The bedroom door opens and my eyes snap up to Andrew standing in the door. I quickly look away wiping my eyes.
"Goodmorning." he says.
He sets a tray down on the bed in front of me and gives me a half smile. I look down at the tray and see eggs, bacon, and toast. With a cup of orange juice.
"Sorry It's not much. I need to go shopping." he says. "Here, take some tylenol."
He gives me two small pills and smiles at me. I smile back and take them with the orange juice. He doesnt move and stays silent. I decide to start eating the food.
When my mouth is full Andrew clears his throat. I look up at him and his face is very serious. I stop chewing and raise a brow.
"What were you doing at Haydee's last night?" he asks.
Shock takes over at the random question. I swollow my food and scoot away from him and the tray.
"Uhm.. What?" I ask confused.
"Dont asnwer questions with more questions." he looks away.
I feel the intense aroma surround me in the room as he sits in silence. I grow intimidated and my heart starts racing. What the hell?
"I was uhm- hanging out with a friend. That I havent seen in a long time." I say slowly.
"Where do you know Johnson from?" he asks abruptly.
"Johnson?" I ask. More contusion settling in.
"The man. Johnson. You dont know John? He goes by that sometimes."
I shake my head silently.
"Why were you leaving with him then?" he looks into my eyes.
What? How did he know I was leaving with someone?
"You were watching me?" I ask.
I begin getting a little scared at how close he was to me. And the fact that he was watching me last night. I get up and move away from the bed.
"No, I wasnt watching you. I just saw you walk past with him."
"The man that got shot?" I ask.
He thinks for a moment. Then looks into my eyes, standing up.
"He got shot?" he asks like he already knows the answer.
I look down and shake my head. I notice I was still in his clothes and I cover my chest nonchalantly.
"I would like to go home now." I say, not making eye contact.
He sighs heavily and nods. He leaves the room and about a minute later comes back with a black dress in his hand.
"Here, I washed this for you. There is no stains." he hands it to me and walks away before I could say anything.
He is acting strange now, I shouldn't of came home with him last night. I quickly change into my dress and walk out of the room. I find my way to the front door and I dont see Andrew anywhere. I decide to just leave.
As soon as I open the door I feel a large soft hand grab mine. I stop and turn to face him. His beautiful face looks at me. He isnt smiling, but he isnt angry.
"Let me drive you home. Please." He says it so softly.
I feel a strong sence of calm and I smile. I thank him and he guides me to his car.
My stupid mind was taken over by the soft touch of his hand on my lower back. I sit in the car waiting for him, and he gets into the driver seat seconds after.
