"That was amazing!" A broad grin stretched across Alessandra's flawless face as her new friend, Jessica, squealed with excitment, complimenting that brunette as they walked out of the school side by side.
Alessandra began to feel hatred towards the teachers in Forks High. They thought they were more important than the students, which was not true at all because if there were no students in the school, said high school would no longer exist nor will their jobs. Adding onto that, the education they were teaching was boring as hell; she already knew all of it, that's how she knew all the important dates of history off by heart.
"Thank you," Alessandra felt her chest swell with proudness as she looked over at her new friend, a cheeky smile attached to her face.
Because she was looking at Jessica, the dark-haired beauty wasn't looking in front of her and collided into a thing that felt like a wall if it wasn't for how freezing it felt at just a slight touch.
Groaning, Alessandra rubbed her nose that felt like it was about to bruise. Looking up, her gaze locked with a pair of gorgeous gold eyes that hypnotised her. She felt as if her breath was ripped from her lungs. Alessandra couldn't breathe as she took in the large male's delicate, pert0 nose and that rich ruby mouth. But it was his eyes that winded her like a punch to the stomach.
He had the most beautiful eyes - they were the glorious gold of a king's shiny crown, the bright beams of sunlight accentuating the tiny mischievous flecks in his fleeting gaze.
He smiled with his lips, but it was his eyes that shone instead, and it was this radiance that made Alessandra along with every man and woman who saw it to feel the irresistible impulse to smile, too, for that smiling of the eyes is the most sincere and pure emotion that anyone could show.
Once the male took a blink, his dark, thick eyelashes flashing down and up, Alessandra's daydream was snapped in half as she took a step back, a sheepish smile forming its way onto her ruby coloured lips, cheek tinting a light baby pink. "Sorry."
"It's fine." The good looking giant said, his laugh booming across the hall. He grinned. "You're that new chic, Alessandra." The said human nodded, and for a reason unknown to her, she felt her neck warm up as her cheeks were painted with a darker shade of pink than previously.
Her heartbeat picked up as her name rolled out of the handsome man's tongue and out of his mouth that was guarded by soft, plump, kissable lips. "I heard you taught the Tanners their place. Awesome." Alessandra felt proud; her heart fluttering at the compliment she got from the stranger. She liked it. But that was until she realised what was happening.
Alessandra cleared her throat, nodding and flashing the giant a quick smile. "Thanks but I best be going now," She said, waving goodbye. She was about to walk away when he wrapped his hand around her wrist, his cold fingers sending pleasurable sparks up her arm, ones that made her shiver.
"Sorry. I just wanted to let you know that my name's Emmett." Alessandra felt her heart swell as a soft smile tugged at her lips.
"Well, it's nice to meet you, Emmett," She stated before walking off, scanning the area for Jessica who left after she started having the conversation with the godly teddy bear-like giant whose name was Emmett.
Emmett. His name alone made Alessandra's heart flutter and butterflies to form in her stomach when he touched her arm, pleasurable sparks courses through her vein, causing shivers to form.
Alessandra, for an odd reason, smiled like a doof, a big lopsided grin on her face as happiness shone in her eyes as another feeling coursed through, one that was all too familiar. One that, instead of bringing love, brought her heartbreak, something she vowed she would never experience again.
Walking over to her car, Alessandra slipped in, taking a deep breath as her eyes fluttered shut. She concentrated on fixing the chips that began to form along the walls of her heart, raising it higher as the familiar feeling of numbness streaked through her.
Starting up the engine, the dark-haired beauty pulled out of the parking lot, ignoring the looks that followed after as she shut down any of the emotions related to love.
