9 | the flower of the past

After their conversation and their shared embrace, Alessandra walked down the stairs, trailing behind Emmett as they walked over to the kitchen where Carlisle was bandaging up Bella's sprained hand.

"Tried to walk and chew gum at the same time, again, Bella?" Emmett asked as they sat on the table, the colossal vampire pulling his mate onto his lap.

"Punched a werewolf in the face," Alessandra smirked and rose her eyebrows, looking at Bella with surprise.

"Badass," Emmett stated, and Alessandra laughed, nodding in agreement. "You're gonna be one tough little newborn."

"Tough enough to take you on," Bella said, and the brunette barked out a laugh, nodding in agreement. Hearing the newspaper being thrown on the floor, the group looked up to see Rosalie walk out of the room, angerly. Alessandra furrowed her brows and glanced at Emmett.

"Don't worry about it." The brunette frowned and watched as Bella walked off and decided to follow her. She leant against the wall and held in her growl of anger as Alessandra heard what happened to Rose. Once Bella left, Alessandra walked over to Rose, wrapping her arms around her waist and leaning her head on her back.

"It's going to be okay. They're never coming back and you have us." She turned around and looked at her second mate, a smile dangling on her lips.

"I love you," Rosalie said as she placed her lips on Alessandra's. The brunette smiled and kissed her back, just as passionate. They didn't know how long until their kiss turned heated and the human wrapped her legs around the blonde's waist as her arms wrapped around her neck. Rosalie sped to their room, slamming the door behind them and throwing Alessandra onto the bed.

The two kissed, their tongues fighting for dominance before the blonde began to trail kisses down Alessandra's neck as she moved her head to the side, exposing her neck to the blonde, submitting to her.
