I waited for the stab but it didn't happen. I opened my eyes and saw Jungkooks body in front of mine. He took the blade for me... Jungkook was fast he chopped down the head of the enemy and took out the blade out of his shoulder. He helpped me up and we both walked away from the battlefield.

I still was in shock that he protected me with his own body. Yes he did say he would but somehow its unbelievable when it happens. My heart was raising. And thats when I realised... I have fallen for him.

Even though we both were injured we moved quickly. We reached the forest and we stopped. Jungkook layed me down. He took my armour off and looked into my wound.

-It's deep we need to return as quickly as possible.

-But how about you?

I just stared into his eyes. He got hurt because of me and he still worries just about me.

-My wound is nothing serious you need treatment more and as soon as possible.

-Don't say that because I know that your wound is serious too.

-I've had way worse wounds than this.

With that we stood up and slowly but as quick as possible we started walking. After a while we reached my tent.

-You can go now I'm f-...

I cut myself by throwing up some blood.

-Taehyung!- i could see sheer panic in Jungkooks eyes.

He layed me on my bed and ran out. After a few minutes he came back with a doctor. The doctor looked at my wounds and started to sew them. After a couple of hours and a lot of blood everything was done. I just layed there. I just didn't have any strength left in me. Jungkook never left my side. He didn't even treat his wound just to be by my side.

-Jungkook go treat your wound first I will be alright.

-But I can't leave your side just like that.

-Don't worry and just go.

Even if he didn't want to he stood up and started walking. Right before he left he looked at me one last time.

I just layed there and thought about everything. I've completely fallen for Jungkook.

A few days has passed. My wounds were healing slowly. We actually won. After Jungkook and I left Turks have pushed a little but when our men got the news of me and Jungkook being stabbed and something just clicked in our men and they just pushed and pushed at the point where Turks had to surrender. Now I'm on my way to the castle on the horse Jungkook by my side. In those few days he almost hasn't left my side once. And I'm thankful. By noon we were back and all the people were cheering for us. Flower petals were everywhere. As soon as we reached the castle I could already see my mother and everyone of the castle waiting.

Almost immediately I was escorted to the royal doctor and treated there again. Even if i was stabbed just few days ago I feel much better now.

No one expected me to return. In a few days there will be a ball to celebrate my return. In that ball i intend on giving Jungkook a badge of honour, which is the biggest reward a king can give a soldier. The badge of honour is the symbol of complete trust of a soldier. When my father ruled he gave just two badges like that.

I didn't expect this but Jungkook visited me every day while I was resting and healing my wounds.

Day's passed just like that and the day of the ball came.

I was currently preparing. The royal gown suited me as a glowe.

-It's time, My King.

In those few days in a field I got used to be called as just Taehyung by Jungkook and now it's strange for me when someone calls ne My King or My Lord.

-Alright. We shall go then.

The party has started already when I entered the ballroom. Just as I took a step in a ballroom it became silent. I walked to my seat. I couldn't see Jungkook anywhere. I took my glass and started my speech.

-Dear Lady's and Gentlemen, thank you for coming here today and celebrating with me that I came back from a battle.

At that moment I saw Jungkook looking straight into my eyes. I smilled and continued my speech.

-With that I want to reward a person who saved me from death. I would like to give a badge of honour to Royal Commander Jungkook.

Everyone started clapping. I saw how shocked Jungkook was. He didn't know what to do but still walked over to me. He kneeled right before me.

-Rise. Today you will sit with me as my friend and a person who saved my life.

Jungkook stood up and Jimin paased me the badge. I clipped it on on his Royal uniform.

-Thank you so much, My King for such a honour.

With that he bowed. And like that the real party started. After a while when party was at his middle Jimin came to me.

-Your Highness, everything is ready.

-Good job. Now don't disturb us for the rest of the evening.

I smilled to him and he left. I turned to look at Jungkook.

-Jungkook come with me.

He looked at me questionably but still followed. Because everyone was having a great time thay haven't noticed that the King went out with his Royal Commander. When we walked to my room Jungkook gave me even more of a questioning look.

-I have a little present inside.

We walked inside and even I myself was shocked what of an a good job Jimin did with a task a gave him. The room was in complete darkness just not the table where the dinner was ready.

-Wow this is beautiful. But I don't understand why all this for me?

I turned around to look at him and I saw how beautifully his eyes were shinning. All I could do is look at them.

-You saved my life so that badge that you're wearing and this dinner is at least I can do.

-Thank you so much, My King.

-What have I told you? When we are alone call me Taehyung.

-Yes...Taehyung.

-Thats better.

I smilled but the temptation of kissing him so big. I came closer to him. And leaned a bit forward. I could see shock in his eyes but he slowly closed them. I smilled.

-The temptation is too big but I can't,- I almost whispered that into his ear- but I'll tell you this.

I made a pause and just looked at his face. He then quickly opened his eyes and looked at me.

-What is it?

-Even if it's too early to say this... I like you Jungkook.
