High End of Lifes Downside

Chapter 4

Jason POV

As we drive down the highway on our way to the mall Josie and Ben sing along to the song Breathless by Asking Alexandria the best they can

Ben singing was okay but Josie was trying to screamo as the song went on

As the chorus neared we pulled up beside a black mustang

"Isnt that William?" Ben asks

"LETS RACE HIM" Josie and Ben both scream and look at me with puppy dog eyes

"Fineee" I say and rev-up the engine with William doing the same as we wait for the light to turn green

I don't want to leave you breathless! When will you save yourself!?

The light turns and both Me and William floor it as the chorus starts

I spend my days looking through pages, Trying to find a way to get away from me!

We both ramp over a small hill and continue racing towards the mall as people watch us.. We were easily hitting 70 after we ramped

With love to give that leaves you Breathless!!

I see a cop stopped at a light ahead of us and I slow down along with William as we pull up behind the cop

Now all I need to find.... A way back inside my mind!!

The cop turns off to the right as we both proceed into the parking lot of the mall- both me and William pulling up beside each other with the others jumping out and yelling

"WILLIAM KICKED YOUR ASSES!!" Lilly screams pointing at us

"OH HELL NO HE DIDNT! JASON WHOOPED YOUR ASS!" Ben yells back

As the three of them scream it out me and william quietly get out and high five each other and congratulate each other

"Did I miss something?" Josie asks confused

"No" Ben smiles and high fives William

"Just being a good sport" I say smiling with William

"Come on, lets go inside!" Lilly says dragging a surprised William inside

with out us

"HEY GET BACK HERE!!" Josie yells and runs after them with me and Ben following her

After entering the mall we chased Lilly and William around the whole place with Ben hugging a random girl with green hair and gold eyes

She hugged him back though which made Ben happy

But after Lilly and William stopped to catch there breath.. That is when Josie attacked

Josie POV

*** 3 minutes earlier***

"Where are they?" I ask looking around

"I dont know, wait... IS THAT THEM OVER THERE?" Jason whisper yells in my ear

"Yes!" I whisper yell back "Wait here...Im gonna do something" I wink at Jason and crawl into the bushes behind Lilly who is standing with William looking around

"Think we lost them?" William asks Lilly

"I dont know... I think we did but I feel like on-" I cut her off by jumping on her shoulders

"IM STILL HERE LILLY!!" I scream as we both fall to the ground with me on top of Lillys back and Lilly face down on the ground

"Ahh!!" William squeals like a girl which makes us all laugh because he is normaly the one with the deepest voice
