Laura Marano is a princess and Ross Lynch is a prince. Their parents are friends and Laura and Ross are enemies. Ross and Laura used to be best friends until Laura found Ross kissing another girl when her and Ross were dating. Laura is the princess of the East Castle while Ross is prince of the West Castle. What happens when their parents throw a dance and make Ross and Laura dance? And what happens when Ross and Laura have to stay in the North Castle by themselves for 2 months?
~ Laura's POV ~
I was sitting in my room playing my guitar when the door opened. It was Raini. "Raini!" I said getting up and going to hug her. "Lets look on the blog" I said and I grabbed my laptop and went and sat on my bed. I pulled up the castle's blog and saw there was a dance tonight. "Oh My Gosh! We are having a dance tonight!" I said. I clicked on the link and my mouth dropped wide open. Raini gave me a confused look and I pointed to the screen. The headline read, 'Laura and Ross will have a dance tonight' She sighed and patted my shoulder. I got up and went to my mirror. "I'm gonna go and tell my mom I'm not going to the dance" I said walking out the door.
I went downstairs and told my mom I wasn't going to the dance. I started walking up the stairs when she stopped me. "Your going to that dance! Or else you will get your tv, phone, la-" she started but I cut her off. "Alright alright! I'll go" I said sighing. I walked upstairs and when I got to my room I sat on my bed sighing. "Whats wrong?" Raini asked me. I told her everything that my mom had told me. Just then the door opened and it was my mom. "Oh and you and Ross will have to stay in the North Castle for 2 months" she said. I stood up in shock. "WHAT?! I yelled. "Yes! Me and the Lynchs are going away and you and Ross cant come with us" she said.
~ Ross' POV ~
I was laying on my bed when my mom came in. I muted the tv and said, "Whats up mom?" She sighed and came and sat on my bed. I gave her a confused look and she spoke up. "Ross you and Laura have to dance at tonight's dance" she said. "Nope I'm going to hang ou-" I started but she cut me off. "Your going or else no tv, phone, la-" She started but I cut her off. "Alright!" I said. She sighed and said, "You also have to stay in the North Castle for 2 months" I widened my eyes at that. "WHAT?!" I said. She sighed and left the room. I flopped back on my bed sighing.
- 2 HOURS LATER -
Calum was helping me get ready. "I cant believe me and Laura have to dance" I said putting my black vest over my white shirt. "Didn't yall use to be friends?" he asked and I nodded. I had a white shirt on with a black vest, some black jeans and black high tops. "Well why did yall stop being friends?" he asked me. I sighed and told them how she caught me kissing another girl when we were dating. "Oh well I'm sorry bro! Did you know yall have to stay-?" he started but I cut him off. ""Yes I know we have to stay at the castle for 2 months" I started, "But at least we can have you and Raini over so its not just us" I finished.
~ Laura's POV ~
Trish was helping me with my hair and makeup. I had on a dress, the top half was black and the bottom half was purple with black in it. I also had some black heels on too. "This is going to be the worst night in the world!" I said sighing. Trish just finished up my hair and it was curly and said, "At least its one dance" I nodded. "I'm sorry about you and Ross having to spend 2 months together" she said. I sighed and said, "Its alright but at least you and Calum will be coming over so its not just us" She nodded and finished up my makeup. "Your ready!" she said. I smiled to her and we walked downstairs to the ballroom.
~ Ross' POV ~
I finally got my hair the way I wanted it and went to the ballroom. I saw Calum, Raini and Laura at the food court and I went over to them. "Sup" I said to them. Specifically to Calum and Raini. "Um excuse me but I was talking!" Laura said. I ignored her. She sighed and her and Raini walked away. "Dude you two really don't like each other, do you?" Calum said. "We hate each other!" I said. He rolled his eyes and Laura and Raini finally came back. "You came back for more huh?" I asked smirking. She just rolled her eyes and stormed off again.
"Please give it up for Laura and Ross" My father said into the microphone. Everyone at the dance made a ton of room in the middle for me and Laura. We walked to the middle of the room and I put my hand in hers. She put her arm around my back and I put my arm on her waist. She moved uncomfortably and the music started. We started dancing and we didn't talk to each other till Laura spoke up. "This is the worst dance in my life!" she said. I smirked and said, "What about when you danced with Dallas when you were 12 and you embarrassed yourself?" Her eyes widened and her mouth dropped. "Shut up! Never speak of that again!" she said. I just smirked and she glared at me. We didn't talk the rest of the dance.
~ Laura's POV ~
Ross and I finally finished our dance and I was eating some brownies. During the middle of the dance some guards came into the room. "INTRUDERS INTRUDERS! GO TO THE FRONT ENTERENCE OF THE CASTLE!" One of them yelled. I was about to start running towards the door when someone pushed me down causing me to fall on my ankle possibly making my ankle get broke. I saw a hand appear in front of me. I looked up and saw Ross trying to help me up. "Well? What are you waiting for?" he asked. I just gave him a confused look and he rolled his eyes. He picked me up bridal style and I let him. My ankle was in to much pain for me to yell at him.
We were looking for Calum and Raini outside the castle when we found them. Ross carried me over there and sat me down on a bench. "Uhh what was that carrying about?" Raini said sitting down next to me. "I possibly broke my ankle" I said. "What? How?" Calum asked. "Cause some stupid idiot knocked me down" I said. I took off my heels and looked at my ankle that I figured was broken. It was all red and swollen. I rubbed it and looked up at Ross, Raini and Calum. They all looked really worried even Ross.
