~ Ross' POV ~
I wake up and realized Laura is in my arms. I smile and get up making sure not to wake her up. I go downstairs and go into the kitchen and get me some orange juice. When I went back into the living room I saw Laura sitting on the couch. She smiled up at me and I smiled back. "Hey" she said. "Hey! Want something to drink?" I asked her. She nodded and said, "Orange juice" referring to my drink. I laughed and gave it to her. We were sitting on the couch watching tv when the doorbell rang. I got up and went to answer it. I opened to see Maia standing there smiling. "Hey baby" she said walking towards me. She was going to kiss me when I stopped her. "Come in!" I said. She raised an eyebrow and then came in. We went into the living room and Laura got a worried look on her face. "I'll be right back" I said. Laura moved in her seat uncomfortablely. I went over and whispered something in her ear. "Don't worry I will be in the kitchen. If something happens come get me as quickly as you can" I whispered. She nodded and I left the room.
~ Laura's POV ~
I sat there looking towards the ground. Maia was coming over and "accidentally" stepped on my broken ankle. "Ow!!!" I said grabbing my foot. "Oops did I step on your foot? Well I'm not sorry!" she said smirking. "Oh and by the way no one likes you no matter what they say" she said. Tears started rolling down my face and I got up and left the room. I looked back to see Maia smirking. I went up to Ross' room and sat on his bed. My head was in my knees and I was crying. I heard a knock on the door and I looked up to see Ross standing there. I wiped the tears as he came and sat beside me. "What happened?" he asked. I took a deep breath and started talking. "Ma-Maia stepped on m-m-my foot that's bro-bro-bro-broken and said No one- No one li-liked me" I said. Ross looked angry and got up from where he was sitting. "That's it! I'm breaking up with her" he said starting to walk away. I grabbed his arm and stopped him. "No!" I said. He looked at me and sighed. "Why not?" he asked. "Cause she will come after me! I just didn't do a good job of avoiding her today" I said looking at the ground. "Fine but if she hurts you again, I'm breaking up with her" he said. I looked up to him and nodded. We sat on his bed and watched tv together.
~ Ross' POV ~
"Ross, will you protect me?" Laura asked looking up at me. I smiled and said, "Of course!" She smiled back and we kept watching tv. It was 7:00PM already. Laura and I spent the whole day watching tv with no interruptions. "Can we order a pizza tonight?" I asked walking over to my phone. "Um I guess but do we have coke?" she asked. I nodded and dialed the number. "Tim's Square Pizza, may I take your order?" the lady asked into the phone. "I would like a pepperoni pizza, a cheese pizza and bread sticks" I said. "Ok we will deliver that as soon as we can. Where do you live?" she asked. I told her where our castle was and she hung up. I went downstairs and waited on the pizza. I fixed me and Laura some drinks when my phone rang. I went and looked at the caller ID, 'Maia' I sighed and picked it up. "Hello?" I said into the phone. "Hey baby! Want to go do something fun tonight?" she asked. I sighed and said, "Maia! I'm sorry but I'm busy tonight" I said. There was no way I would go on a date with her! I heard her sigh and she hung up the phone without saying another word.
~ Maia's POV ~
Did he really just blow me off? Was it for Laura? Are they secretly dating? Ugh! I'm so gonna get that brat. I picked up my phone and called him. "You want me to what?" ??? asked. "I want you to spy on them and tell me what you see!!!" I said. He sighed and said he would do it. Soon me and him arrived at the mall where we saw Ross and Laura at the food court. "Go buy something and get a table next to them" I said. He did as was told and I took my sunglasses out. I put them on and used my Australian accent instead of my American accent. We listened closely about their conversation. "I would love to go to the movies!" Laura said. Her and Ross left and we followed. When Laura was alone, "he" put his hand on her mouth. She tried screaming but he said if she did she would regret it. He pulled her over to me and slammed her on the floor. Her arm started to bleed and she looked up. "Ma-Maia? What are you doing here?" she asked. She looked like she was about to pass out. "I'm here to destroy you'' I said smirking. I leaned closer and whispered into her ear. ''You better back off from Ross cause he likes me and not you. Your worthless, weak, stupid and dumb!'' I said. I leaned back and nodded towards him. He started to punch her. I left to leave "him" to do the dirty work.
~ Laura's POV ~
He was hitting me. I was crying. He soon left and I was left there on the floor with my bleeding arm and my bleeding lip. I heard someone calling my name and I didn't know who. Everything just starting to get blurry and I soon realized I was unconscious. I woke up breathing real hard. Where was I? It looks like a.........hospital. I turned to my side and saw Ross sitting in the seat next to me. He was asleep. I checked my phone to see what time it was, 2:02AM. I sat there in my seat remembering everything. I soon got bored and got up. My legs were wobbly and I almost fell. "La-Laura?" Ross said rubbing his eyes and standing up. I went over to him and gave him a hug. Tears rolling down my face. He hugs me back and we pull apart. Him and Maia haven't broken up yet and he doesn't know what happened to me. But we just look into each others eyes and it happens. He leans closer, I lean closer, and then our lips touch. If Maia finds out about this, I'm dead. But I don't care as long as Ross' by my side. When we pull apart he sits down and I sit on his lap. His arms around my waist and my arms around his neck. We both fall asleep in each others arms and everything feels magical.
