~ Laura's POV ~
I quickly ran upstairs not saying a word to Maia and Ross. I went into my room and ran into the bathroom. I got out a razor and put it to wrist. I was about to kill myself but I didn't. I stared at myself and tears started rolling down my face. I went back into my room and pulled out my phone. I called my older sister, Vanessa. She moved out 2 years ago. I searched her name through my contacts and when I found it, I clicked her name and waited for her to answer. ( Vanessa - Bold / Laura - Normal )
"Hello?"
"Vanessa, come over right away!"
"Sure, what's wrong?"
"Me and Ross started to have feelings for each other and this girl, Maia who Ross is dating put a spell on him so he loves her and hates me. And... and.."
"Laura don't worry I'll be over soon! North Castle right?"
"Yea see ya soon"
~ Vanessa's POV ~
I knocked on the door and waited for an answer. Ross answered it and said, "Hey Vanessa!" Ross and I were better friends than him and Laura. "Hey! Um where's Laura?" I asked. He looked upstairs and looked back at me. "Upstairs doing dorky stuff cause she's a dork" he said. That made me real angry. My sister is not dorky! "Laura's not- never mind. Thanks" I said walking in. I walked upstairs and knocked on Laura's door.
"So he needs to kiss Maia for a few minutes before he's cured?" I asked. Laura nodded. "Well we just need to get them to kiss!" I said smirking. "That will never work!" Laura said sighing. I kept smirking and said, "We'll see about that" I walked downstairs and saw a brunette girl sitting in Ross' lap. "Ross? Who's this?" I asked. They both stood up and turned to me. "Oh Vanessa, this is my girlfriend, Maia" he said kissing her quickly. "Maia, this is Laura's cooler sister, Vanessa" he said. I smiled to her and she smiled back. Then Ross pulled Maia into the kitchen. I spied on them and what I saw was unbelievable. Ross had Maia up against the fridge door, kissing her, on the lips, and not pulling back. So kissing him for a while is not the cure?! I got to tell Laura.
~ Laura's POV ~
I was sitting in my room waiting for Vanessa to come back upstairs. "Laura!" someone yelled. I looked up at my door and saw a panting Vanessa gasping for air. "Vanessa? What happened?" I asked. She calmed down and sat beside me on the bed. "Laura, Maia kissing Ross for a while is not the cure" she said. "What do you mean?" I asked getting worried. She sighed and said, "I saw them kissing on the lips for a while and he didn't pull back" I sighed, "So there's no cure!" I said. Vanessa put her hand on my knee. "Laura! You know there's a cure cause when all else fails it comes down to this cure" she said. I knew exactly what she was talking about. The only way to cure Ross was with true love's kiss and its either me or someone who I probably don't even know. "So its me or some random idiot" I said. Vanessa nodded and said, "I bet it will be you though" She smiled and I smiled back. Soon she had to leave to get back home.
I went downstairs and saw Ross and Maia kissing. I stared for a few minutes and when they pulled back, Ross said, "Do you mind" I didn't say or do anything I just went into the kitchen. A few seconds later Maia appeared at the door. "You hate it don't you?" she said smirking. I just glared at her and finally said, "Well he's not cured so the only cure is true love's kiss" I smirked and her mouth dropped wide open. "I'm his true love though! Why isn't he cured?" she asked panicking. "Cause your not his true love" I said still smirking. Maia stared at me and finally ran out of the room.
~ Maia's POV ~
I headed for the door but Ross stopped me. "Where you going?" he asked. I just starred at him and said nothing. I moved away from him and headed to the door. He grabbed my arm and said, "Maia tell me whats wrong!" I sighed and said, "Nothing! I just got to get home before dinner" He gave me a confused look and asked me, "Did Laura do something to you?" I didn't know what to say so I just shrugged and left.
~ Laura's POV ~
I was still in the kitchen when Ross came in. He glared at me so I gave him a confused look. "What did you do to Maia?" he asked. Does he seriously think I did something to her? I didn't say anything I just ignored him. He then got louder and angrier when he said, "What did you do to Maia?!" I decided to answer him back. "Nothing! I did nothing she just left!" I said. He rolled his eyes and I said, "Its the truth" He glared at me some more and said, "You are the stupidest girl in the world!" I felt tears rolling down my cheek but I fought back. "YOU LOVED ME!" I yelled. He started yelling too. "WELL THAT ME WAS REALLY DUMB AND STUPID" he yelled. I shook my head no and said, "NO THAT ROSS WAS AN AMAZING GUY AND NOT A DUMB-" He cut me off and said, "THIS ROSS IS AMAZING THAT OTHER ONE WAS THE DUMB-" I then cut him off. "MAIA PUT YOU UNDER A SPELL" I yelled. He rolled his eyes and said, "Keep telling yourself that" I sighed and said, "The only way to be cured is to be kissed by your true love who is probably me" He rolled his eyes and said, "I would never kiss you and Maia is my true love" Tears were rolling down my face and I said, "Fine whatever I don't even care anymore" I ran upstairs and went into my room. I went straight towards the bathroom and got out the razor. I started digging it into my wrist when someone stopped me. "Stop!" that someone said.
