Hyesu's povThe broken. The unfixable. That was me.
I had friends. I had respect. I had confidence. And then came Jiwoo Jung. I lost my friends. I lost my respect and I could wave goodbye to my confidence. I watched as everything that made me essentially me, got flushed down a drain, somewhere deep and undiscovered.
School turned hell for me. I had to move several classes until I was put with people that didn't judge me for something they heard through the grape vine. For a little while, school was okay again. I became friends with the ones that were more worried about their academic life than their social ones. But wait. Guess who messed that up for me too? Jung Jiwoo.
She thought it was funny to spread rumours again. This time saying that'd I had multiple boyfriends and that's why I was trying to live a low-key life. No Jiwoo, I'm just trying to get away from your inhumanly ways. So I hid. Hid every lunch, depriving myself from food. Just so she wouldn't set eyes on me.
This is where you came along. You changed everything. Seeing your smile alone made me happy. Seeing you with your friends made me happy. The warm, cosy vibe you carried, I wanted to share it. Everything about you made me giddy. It's ironic because I believed that everything had some fault. However in you, I couldn't find any. You, just standing centimetres away from me, would send fireworks through my body.
You did something to me Mark Lee.
And I wanted you to fix me.
