3rd person's pov {MAINLY DIALOGUE}
There they sat, somewhat comfortable high up above the buildings, gazing out onto the dimly lit streets ahead of them. It was silent, apart from the few odd cars and the couple, after a long night of clubbing.
"It's a very pretty night," she whispered into the air.
"It is pretty, but it doesn't compare to somethings that's even prettier," he said.
"You mean me?" She gigged while asking.
"Damn, you stole my pick up line. How'd you know?"
"One, that line is overused and two, my Mark-is-about-to-say-something-cheesy radar turned on just in time."
"You really are something."
"Indeed," she nodded in approval. He looked out into the street ahead of him, then turned back to her.
"Hyesu, I wanted to give you these before but never really found the right moment," he said as he tried to get something from his pockets.
"What is it?"
"It's my parents old couple rings. They met about our age and when they got married, they got a new one, so they passed this down to me."
"Mark that's so sweet of them."
"I want us to wear it. To show everyone that we are in a relationship. I don't care what others say anymore, all that matters is that I love you," he gently smiled. "So would you wear it?"
"Of course I would!" She laughed. He took her hand and placed the ring on her index finger.
"When my parents gave each other these rings, they were at this exact spot and do you know what they did? They shouted out what they wanted to say to each other, so that the whole world knew. It's our turn now. I'll go first," he said as he turned to face the city ahead of him. He took a deep breath and shouted: "I LOVE HYESU PARK AND NOBODY SHOULD DARE TOUCH HER BECAUSE SHE'S MINE!" Then he turned to her and nodded, indicating it was her turn.
"MARK LEE IS MY BOYFRIEND AND NOBODY SHOULD TOUCH HIM OTHERWISE I'LL DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT I'LL DO!" In unison they both bust out into laughter, holding onto each other for dear life.
The dark night sky illuminated the world beneath it, and the two young lovers, on the rooftop sang, laughed and talked, like they owned it all.
