Annabeth POV

For the rest of the classes, the students aren't as rowdy and talkative. It may have been scary, but it wasn't the same. It didn't have the same feeling, the noises were a little off. It didn't radiate as much fear and hopelessness. The Boggart could only show what it and everyone else's minds could comprehend. Yes, technically Percy and I only saw as much as we could comprehend, but it was still worse. That was more like going through old photos, rather than reliving the memory.

After that class, Dumbledore asked to see our class. He removed that memory from all of their heads, except Snape. We explained what happened, and he let the class leave. They think they were there because of how well they did against the boggart.

But I could tell that even without remembering, they couldn't shake off the feeling of something bad, and it took them a while to go back to normal everyday students.

No one in our group mentioned it or brought it up.

But things were looking up when we walked towards the Forbidden Forest.

Leo POV

I was already liking this class, just by the name. Care of Magical Creatures.

The teacher, Hagrid, gathered us in the forest.

"Now, this is a rare one for us ta see. They caught it and are taking it away, but we are being allowed to observe it for class. We are gonna see a dragon," he explains. Some students gasp a little. Others look excited.

We follow Hagrid deeper until we reach a cage with a cloth over it. "Tis cloth is fire proof, so ta dragon isn't burning nothin' in the forest. He's a baby, so he can't shoot far, but stay back else ya get burned."

He removes the cloth. Inside is a little dragon, a golden red color. Instantly it shoots fire towards us. I'm at the front of the group so I get hit. Everyone else jumped out of the way.

"OH -- Are you OK?!" Hagrid rushes over. His eyes widen when I'm okay, not a single burn.

Crap. Uh... "I put on a fireproof spell right before we got here," I lie. Ha! I feel as smart as Annabeth.

"Well next time, ya do what I say and stay back," he says.

"Yes, sir!" I grin. We observe the dragon until class is over and two wizards come take him away. Aw. He was so cute though.

"Leo, if you risk us again...." Annabeth warns.

I laugh. "I know, I'm sorry. Hey, I got us out of it, though!" She rolls her eyes and walks ahead.

Time Skip

Piper POV

It's been two months, and we've made quite a few friends. Our closest friends being Hermione, Ron, Harry, Ginny, Luna, and the Weasely twins. All of the people here seem pretty nice, except for a handful, but there's always going to be sour people in life. For the most part, I like it here.

I'm sitting in the main common room, chatting with some Griffindors, when Leo comes running out of our common room, screaming.

"Hide me!!" He yells at me. My mouth opens to say something, but he's already crouched in front of me, out of view from our door.

Nico come out next. You can't hear his footsteps, so Leo isn't prepared when Nico's right behind him. Leo screaches and runs.

"Nico! Stop going after Leo!" I say. He glares at me as I use charmspeak. I only use it in emergencies. As much as Leo may have earned it, I don't need Nico torturing him.
