Chapter 8: Trust - Love is sensual

"And that's how we met" Ma said

"Wow. That was so amazing." Cass said

"Now. Can we already eat? I'm starving" I said. The first thing Cass wanted when she woke up this morning is to know about ma and moms love story.

"I have finished cooking. We should already eat" Mom called

"Let's go" ma said

"Can we meet your dad and brothers Mrs. Collins? Or should I say, 'Ma'" Cass said and smiles

Ma smiled as she heard Cass called her ma. "Yeah. Charlie will he here at summer, you could meet him. Then we can go to a trip to my hometown when everyone's not busy" Ma said

"We should plan" Cass excitedly said

"Can we eat already? I'm really hungry" I complained and went to the dinner table. Cass followed me.

"She's very excited." Mom said

"Sash." Ma called as she hugged mom

"What is the matter?"

"I spare a big detail on my story"

"That doesn't matter anymore."

"Thank you for keeping the truth"

"Hey! You two, you’re gonna eat or not?" I called

"We'll be there" Mom said as they went to the table.

It was in the middle of the night when I received a private phone call.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Can you please help me?" the voice said. It was from a woman. I think she's around 18 or 19.

"Who is this?"

"I'm Sera, Charlene Michaels’ youngest daughter. I don't know who to call."

"What happened?"

I rushed to the hospital where Mrs. Michaels was confined.

"Mrs. Charlene Michaels" I asked the nurse in the information

"She's still in the operating room" the nurse answered

"Thank you" I said as I rushed off. When I found the operating room, a girl was there sitting alone. "Sera" I called. She looked at me. I could see how pale she was. She was crying. "Are you okay? What happened?"

"She just collapse. I immediately called 911 and took her here. The doctor said she's suffering of a heart failure. I don't know who to call, my older sister is out of town. I already sent her a mail. My other sister is living in England with his husband and children and I don't have contact with my father." she explained

"It's alright. I'm here. You can trust me" I said as I hugged her.

"Thank you" she said

After a long hour, the doctor went out "Are you the patient's relative?"

"She's the daughter" I said

The doctor looked at Sera "You're mother is safe. We've recovered her but she do suffer a stroke."

"Will she able to recover" Sera asked

"Of course she does. She could undergo physical therapy for four to five months until she fully recovers." the doctor said

"Alright"

"Now, we’ll be taking her to a room. You could see her there" the doctor said and walks out.
