"Next time, I'm locking you in my room before they get here. And you're never talking to him again."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I had only seen him for seconds at a time since then, and it was... Well, upsetting to say the least. But then, Will had to go to our grandma's house for the week, because it had been me last month. I ran to get his bike as soon as he left the house.Dustin's house was just down the street, but I wasn't going to be running, not in these jeans. As soon as I got to his house, I sprinted to the front step. I knocked thrice in quick succession.
"Oh, hello," greeted a woman at the door. "You must be one of Dustin's friends." I nodded, and she called him down. He sprinted down the stairs.
"Hey, Ann," he said with his adorable signature grin. After our quick greetings, he lead me to his kitchen, where he said that they had pudding, and fruit roll-ups, and cookies.
We talked for a while, and ate quite a bit. Neither of us had noticed that we had been getting closer and closer together on the counter we were sitting on as time went by, but once our sides were pressed up against each other's, it was hard to deny.
I decided to bring up the elephant in the room, the one we hadn't acknowledged since truth or dare. "Do you want to be my boyfriend? Because if you don't, that's fine, but I just wanted to ask, since we kissed and all, and that normally happens after you start dating, and I didn't want to make things any more weird than they--" He didn't let me finish rambling before he kissed me, and this time, it was more meaningful. It had "yes" written all over it, and I knew it was the right way for him to answer.
"But we won't tell your brother. Neither of us want to be killed. Or have to kill him." I nodded.
"Yeah, let's keep think between the four of us," someone said from the doorway. It was Lucas, and a smirk was plastered on his face. Next to him was Mike, who was trying to hold in a sqee. "Your mom let us in. Before you ask, we saw nothing before the rambling."
"Well, that's a relief, but if you don't leave, I will kill both before you have a chance to even say the word 'oops'," I threatened. They nodded. "Now, where were we?"
