"I already told you no. Stop calling me!" Mingyu angrily pulled his phone away from his ear and tapped the red button.

"Are you okay babe?" Wonwoo overheard the last part of the phone call. "What happened?"

"Wonu, don't worry about it okay I fixed it already, okay?" Mingyu smiled at Wonwoo and eagerly hugged him.

Wonwoo chuckled in Mingyu's chest and hugged tighter before letting go. "Why are you so huggy today?"

"I just love having you with me. Besides when am I not all huggy with you?" Mingyu eye smiled towards him.

"You're right. But you seem different today." Wonwoo shifted his eyes to the device in Mingyu's hand then back to his face, "who was on the phone?"

Mingyu's smile dropped and turned into an upset, mad look. "Wonwoo I said it's fine. Don't worry about it he's not gonna hurt you."

"Huh? Not gonna hurt me what do you mean?" Wonwoo let out a nervous chuckle.

Mingyu's face turned noticeably pale. "Did I say that? I didn't mean that, I meant um, he's not gonna lurt you." Mingyu gave an awkward smile.

"That's not even a word Mingyu! Tell me the truth please!" Wonwoo a voice was loud and full of concern.

"Wonwoo, please don't worry about it. It was just this guy I used to hang with and he jokingly said he would punch you if you... um, beat him in a ping pong game! Haha isn't he funny?" Mingyu's words came out rushed. "Let's watch some Netflix. I found a good romance we can watch together!"

"Mingyu! Quit playing and tell me the truth! Why did you say someone was gonna hurt me?" Wonwoo scared himself thinking of the possibilities of what kind of "hurt" this guy would do to him.

Mingyu didn't speak but instead ignored Wonwoo. He sat down on the couch and turned on the tv. "I told you it's nothing. Don't worry about it." He mumbled through gritted teeth.

Wonwoo looked at the boy that was too busy paying attention to the tv in front of him and crossed his arms. "Leave my house. If you aren't gonna tell me the truth then just leave."

Mingyu calmly stared at the show he was watching and coldly stated, "I was already planning on staying at Dokyeom's house anyway."

Mingyu got up from the couch and passed by Wonwoo without taking a glance at him.

Wonwoo dropped his arms out of their crossed state then turned around to face Mingyu's back. He pushed him with all him force but Mingyu only stepped forward, unfazed.

Wonwoo furiously watched Mingyu walk to their room. He followed him only to see Mingyu messily grabbing a clothes out of his dresser and stuffing it into a bag.

"Mingyu?" Wonwoo whispered out to him, "please don't go I'm sorry I freaked out I didn't mean it."

"No, Wonwoo, I think it's better that I leave. These past months living with you, I've only distracted you from work. It'll be better that I'm leaving."

Mingyu grabbed the bag full of clothes and walked towards the front door. "Please, don't leave! I don't want to lose you again! You said we'd stay together."

"Wonwoo, I'll be back one day I promise. But for now I need a break, goodbye." Mingyu turned to face the door before Wonwoo could see the tears forming in his eyes.

Before Wonwoo could argue with him, he was outside the apartment, closing the door behind him.

Wonwoo couldn't understand why he left. Maybe the same reason the broke up the first time. Or maybe he was really hiding something that was connected to the phone call.

What Wonwoo didn't know, was the numerous threats Mingyu was receiving. They were chilling phone calls of descriptive ways of how a mysterious man would torture Wonwoo in many ways if Mingyu didn't stay away from him.

Every phone call from this man made Mingyu's anger grow more and more, Mingyu wanted this man dead more than anything, and he would never let him lay a hand on his boyfriend.
