"Why are you grounded again?" Cassie asked for the third time since lunch started.

"Hey, dumbass. She told you twice already. You're such a shoelace," Michelle said. Our Trig. teacher got her in a really bad mood today. No surprise there, Mrs. Gerald always find a way to piss her off. With either a short notice test or too much homework. But the kids in her class could've angered her too.

I sighed when Cassie turned to me for an answer. "Because I wasn't answering my phone and I came home with Robert. Then a few hours later I snuck him in to my room..." I smiled and laughed at myself, recalling when we were caught. I was in the middle of explaining how I got started with BMX when my dad walked in. Oh David. My dad generally likes all of our friends, but he does not like the fact that Robert was "sneaking around with me".

Michelle started to shake her head. "What?" I asked with my mouth full of gummies

"Why do you have a boyfriend?" She asked seriously as she glared at me in mock disgust.

I choked on my food. Truly I thought that was it for me and I was going to die because of a fruit nugget.

"No, no, no. Not dating."

"Who's not dating?" Robert asked, sneaking up from behind me. He sat down, very close, right next to me.

"You and Ali." I glared at Cassie so hard I swear my eyes were about to pop out and hit her in the face. While the boy next to me started to reply his hand found it's way to mine.

"Not yet anyway." I turned to look at him and ended up having to tilt my head back. Turns out he was sitting a lot closer than I thought. Robert's little smirk-grin caused me to smile widely and giggle.

There are many things I do not know about Robert, but I plan to find out. He is an interesting person for sure. His clothes are interesting, his face is interesting, and so is his body. What. Nah his body is mighty fine. But that personality though. I adore how funny he is because I love laughing. Throughout my years of being in classes with him he has always either made a joke, said a witty comeback, or sang his own jingle; they always make me laugh. Then there is his asshole side. I hate and love the fact that he can be extra mean. His anger reminds me of my anger. My anger issues are severe enough to have to take pills. But I don't. I wonder if he will be able to put up with my hostileness.

As we continued to talk about what classes we have for the rest of the day Robert thought it would be cool to look through my lunch box. One time as I was watching him he made a shocked face and pulled out a note. A special note that I have been planning to give to Robert.

"No!" I gasped. "Give it back!" I shouted and reached across him. He was too quick for me, pulling his hand father away. I laid over Rob's legs in despair.

"Dear Robert Vanilla Wafer." He paused with his jaw slightly open as he tried to ponder what he just read. All of a sudden he burst out laughing. He was laughing so hard that his whole body shook so I had to sit up again. "I love you so much, Ali. Oh my god." He was still laughing when he told me that so I decided to take it as a joke. My other two friends thought it was serious and sang an obnoxious chorus of 'OoOoOo's.
