"yesss!" jisoo cheered. "ahhhh!" she shouted. the other applicants glared at her and they figured out that she was the one who got the job. "interviews are over, applicants should leave now.." the secretary said.
"aish, so annoying.." the crowd muttered.
she went to jisoo and gave her a smile. "congratulations jisoo." she said smiling. "thank you!" she bowed. "i'm sure they'll be contacting you on the weekend, giving the consideration you're in college, so that you can start your new job. you can go home for now. oh, and here's my phone number. i'll be scheduling your work mostly for now." she said smiling.
"oh my, thank you so much! what's your name again?" jisoo asked. "eunji." she said with another smile.
she smiles a lot, and she's really pretty too.. jisoo thought in her head.
someone suddenly came in the building, who looks like he was running, and bumped into jisoo. the guy had a hat and a mask on and he had a drink on his hand which accidentally got spilled on jisoo. "oh my god." jisoo mumbled.
the guy stopped and looked at her in shock. "i'm so sorry! oh my go- aish, i'm so stupid! i'm so sorry!" the guy said. eunji sighed and placed her fingers on her nose bridge. "why do you have to be so clumsy, jae?" she asked.
"i didn't mean to spill it on her!" jae reasoned out. "i-i'll just go to the bathroom.." jisoo said. she went to the restroom and took of her school coat. yes, she was still wearing her uniform. luckily, only the coat got spilled on. all she's wearing now as her top is a white longsleeve polo with a bow.
"i guess i'll just wash this when i get home.." she said to herself.
she went outside and saw jae sulking. "i'm really sorry.. i'm jae.. your name is jisoo, right?" he asked and jisoo nodded. "don't worry about it! it's totally fine!" she said and smiled. "let me treat you a drink at least? as an apology?" he asked. "it's really okay! you don't have t-" he cutted her off and dragged her to the café in the building.
"what do you want?" he asked. "uhh.. green tea with milk please.." she said shyly.
they both sat at the bar stool by the counter and silence took over. "sorry again, with what happened.." he said. "it's really okay! you don't have to say sorry.." jisoo said.
jae looked at jisoo and studied her features. "you look like someone i know.." he said, laughing. "i do?" she said and he nodded. "hm, nevermind." he said.
he stared at her again and sniffed. she had a different smell. she's a human, but she smells like...
