"this is a really random question, but.. do you own a pet dog?" jae asked laughing as he scratched the back of his head. "uhh.. no?" jisoo said, sipping on her tea. "why?" she asked randomly. "not to be rude or anything.. it's just you smell like dog.." he said smiling.
"ohhh.. is that bad?" she asked. he shooked his head. "it's not! haha.." he said. it really isn't for him.
she's been marked.. by that half-blood, jae thought again.
marking is where a wolf had claimed something as his. it's like calling dibs on something or marking a territory. in short, jisoo is youngjae's and she belongs to him.
jisoo had been marked by youngjae when she first met him. since then, she had always carried youngjae's half-blooded scent. there's only a few left of wolves in korea.. but there could still be more than what they actually thought, and jae is one of the pure bloods thats left out there.
jae, more known as jaehyung, is a trainee in jyp. he's a wolf, a pure blooded wolf. he knows who the half-blood scent was. he somehow found the smell whenever he's in the building.
"oh, jisoo, are you one of the applicants for the interview that happened today?" he asked and she nodded. "i'm the one who got the job!" she cheered. "oh wow! congrats!" he said happily. "sorry that i had to ruin it.. ahaha.." he said. "you really need to stop saying sorry." she said laughing.
jisoo glanced at her watch and her eyes enlarged when she saw the time. "ahh, it's getting late already.. i need to go home now." she said. "it was nice meeting you jae! let's meet again some time?" she asked and he nodded. "yeah! take care!" he said.
she left running outside the jyp building. there was a taxi stop close by, and luckily there was already a taxi there waiting for her. she told him the address and the driver drove away.
when she got home, her grandma was there outside waiting for her. "grandma!" jisoo called cheerfully. "i got the job!" she shouted. "ahh! i knew you would get it! i'm so proud of you soo-ah!" she said, hugging jisoo. "jongyoon! jisoo got the job! hurry and get the meal i cooked for her!" her grandma shouted and jisoo laughed.
they went inside and closed the restaurant earlier. her uncle got the food ready as they waited and chatted. "so how was your school today, soo?" jongyoon asked. "it was fine.." jisoo laughed nervously as she remembered what happened this morning.
"no trouble?" her grandma asked and she shooked her head with a smile. "met any new friends?" her uncle said. "yeah, i did." she said, not giving too much detail, for some reason. "some in school, and in jyp." she said.
