"where the heck were you a while ago?!" jinwoo shouted over the phone. jisoo laid on her bed with her phone on her ear and stared at the ceiling. "i was with youngjae.." she said. "what? why?" he asked.
"he asked me to hangout, and i said yes." jisoo answered. "don't you think he acts strange though?" he asked.
jisoo turned to her left and sighed. "no. youngjae is really nice. at first, he seems really cold in the outside, but in the inside, he's actually really kind." she said, reminiscing what happened at lunch.
"you like him don't you?" jinwoo asked, unphased. "what? n-no!" she shouted. "you sure? you talk about him like you knew him ever since you were young." jinwoo said.
she does.
"i don't but.. it's weird.." she said. "you are honestly so weird." jinwoo said. "says the guy who thinks every guy i met is weird." she said in an annoyed tone. "alright were both weirdos then." jinwoo said laughing.
"so where did you two go earlier?" he asked. "i treated him a drink and we both went to the park.." she said. "where the wolves were?" jinwoo asked. "yeah.. he promised to keep it a secret. jinwoo, you're not telling anyone right?" she asked. "as much as i want you to stay away from those creatures, you're still stubborn. i guess i don't have anything to do than to just stay quiet." jinwoo said.
"thanks, jinwoo." she said. "you really are an awesome friend." she said. "mhmm." he mumbled.
it felt like an arrow shot his heart for jinwoo. it legit cracked in half. "i-i'll see you tomorrow." he said. "bye woowoo!" jisoo teased and he laughed. "bye weirdo." he said and hunged up.
"all this years, i've only been like a friend to you." jinwoo mumbled.
jisoo placed her phone down, still not taking her eyes off the ceiling. youngjae's eyes and his smile.. it was the only thing she could picture in her head. "aish, what am i thinking.." she muttered and stood up.
