Chapter 38:

~ Zayn’s POV ~

After my confession on this girl, we go back to the hotel without talking to each other. She must be shock on what she just heard a while ago.

We’re already near the hotel’s entrance when she tug the end of shirt, I stop and turn around to her when the last thing I knew she tip toed just to level mine and crush her lips on mine.

I was in shocked; it took minutes before she pulled back. Her face was all red and couldn’t look at me. I still couldn’t believe that she kissed me.

“Well, umh.. I don’t know why I did that. But I guess that’s goodbye kiss?” She said under his breath couldn’t face me.

“I.. I should get going now. Bye.” She says before running in the hotel.

My lips curled up for a smile, ear to ear. Happiness yet that’s all I’ve got.

~ Katie’s POV ~

I couldn’t believe on what I saw. Kelsi initiate to kiss Zayn. I know she likes him but I never ever thought she’ll do that.

I waited for her at the lounge inside our suite. I do need an explanation.

~Kelsi’s POV ~

When I get in the elevator, I scream as loud as I can.

Why did I do that? What makes me think to kiss Zayn? And goodbyes kiss? Nice excuse, Kels. Note the sarcasm.

When I get in our suite, I saw Katie sitting on a couch and staring at the wall.

“W-why are you awake at this time?” I ask, nervous.

“I have same question.” She says, looking at me.

“I.. I just want some fre-”

“I saw you.” She cut me off.

“You… You saw?” I sulk.

“Explain.” She states.

I go near her and sit beside.

“Why did you even tell we are here?”

“I did not. It was an accident.” I explain what happen earlier when Zayn saw me.

“And that kiss?” She raises her eyebrow, crossed-arm.

I couldn’t say anything instead tears falls from my eyes.

“Do you feel something for him?”

“I.. I think I do.”

“But… That’s goodbye.” I look at her, still crying.

I told her everything Zayn has told me. It’s so heartbreaking but I think it’s for the right.

“Let’s not think of this for now, instead lets’ rest for tomorrow.” She says.

I love Katie on how she handles things; she’s so mature on it. She and Mitchie are being mature now.

I woke up because of my phone keeps on vibrating.

I check on it and saw the alarm, it’s already 10 in the screen and it has note saying:

Wake up! Its showtime. xx

I ruffle my hair and sit up, letting myself yawn carelessly.

I get out of the room and saw them at the lounge sitting on the couch with Kendall.

“Morning.” I greet them.

“Great, you’re awake. We can rehearse now.” Katie says.

“What happen to your eyes?” Cait asks, making an invisible circle in front of her eyes.

“What’s with my eyes?” I ask, rubbing my eyes.

“It’s swollen.” Kendall answers.

I look at Katie and she nods. She stands up and goes near me.

“We’ll fix that.” Mitchie says, going near me too.
