Chapters 44:

~ Caitlyn’s POV ~

I enjoy every minute I’m with him. I think I made up my mind and I don’t want to both of them.

“Where are they?” I ask.

We are walking to our next ride which is the Ferris wheel and I notice that they’re not behind us anymore.

“I don’t know. I though they’re just following us.” Carlos shrugs.

I was just walking and Carlos following behind when I heard my stomach growl.

I hope Carlos doesn’t…

“I heard that.” He chuckles.

Oh, what a shame.

“I saw some ice cream booth there. Let’s eat while we are looking for them.” Carlos takes my hand and drags me with him.

We make it to the ice cream stand and saw the others sitting there.

I caught James staring at us.

“W-what?” I snap.

He didn’t answer so I look at Kelsi who’s just beside him.

I saw her looking at my hand then I just realize that Carlos is holding my hand. My eyes widen, scanning them and they’re grinning while looking at our hands holding each others.

“What’s the matter?” Carlos asks, clueless.

I quickly release my hands on him and change the topic.

“I want a three scoop of strawberry.” I told him as he nods and go to the stall.

“You guys should stop it. It’s creeping me out.” I told them.

“You two look perfect together.” Kendall says, wriggling his eyebrows.

“You should make up yourself, Cait.” Katie nods.

“What am I missing out?” Logan asks clueless as we all laugh.

Carlos goes back with my ice cream and his shaved ice.

“Thanks.” I say when he gave me my cone.

He just smiles and sits beside me.

We didn’t notice the time when Gustavo called Carlos. He knew that Carlos is the most scared to him so that big guy threatens him.

We decided to go back to the theater and an angry Gustavo surprise us.

“H-hey, Gustavo.” Carlos warily wave at him.

“HEY WHAT!” He yelled.

This guy should enrolled anger management class, seriously.

“Chill.” Kendall calmly says.

“Where have you been?” Kelly then came in.

Good thing that someone could calm Gustavo a bit.

“Carnival.” James replied.

“Good thing you’re having a good time.” Gustavo sarcastically says.

“Yeah. We all have.” Carlos carelessly says as I mentally face-palm.

“AND BEING LATE ON OUR NEXT SHOW IS SUCH A GORGEOUS IDEA.” He shouted through his lungs.

“Look, we’re sorry.” Mitch apologizes.

Gustavo look at her evilly. Scary.

“I think we should go now.” Kate says.

“Yeah, go now before he kills you too.” Logan agreed.

“See you at Durham.” Katie gives a peck on Kendall then leave as we follow her lead.

~ Carlos’ POV ~

“WHY ARE THEY SAYING ‘SEE YOU’?” Gustavo asks.

“They’ll be watching the rest of our show.” Kendall says in-a-matter-of-fact.

“Good, so you all get distracted.” He says, annoyed.

This guy has a lot of sarcasm in him.

“Just drop it.” James wailed.

“Yeah, Yeah. We’re moving now.” Logan waves his hand back and forth.

~ Caitlyn’s POV ~

We go to the mobile van we will use; the driver is already there waiting for us.

“Hi Gab.” Katie greets him.

“Hi Kate. Are we off to go now?” He asks.

“Yeah, we are going to Durham now.” She replied.

“Hop and we will go.” He says then goes in the driver side.

The mobile van looks like the tour bus that the boys have but in a smaller version though.

“So, how Carlos and you doing?” Kate started.

“Nothing. You left us there.” I accused.

“No we didn’t.” We called you but you two seems didn’t heard us.” Mitch explains.

I look at Kelsi to ask if it’s true but she nods before I could speak.

“I think I really do like Carlos.” I state, shyly.

“How about Liam then?” Kelsi asks.

“I like him too but I don’t want to be unfair. I think I’ll talk to him tomorrow.” I say, sighing.

I hope I will make the right decision. No regrets and will surely hope for the best.
