Mei woke up to the blaring alarm once again he stood up picked it up and slammed it back down. He walked to the bathroom and saw a horrible looking boy with extremely dark circles under his eyes, he let out a gasp before realizing it was the reflection of the mirror. His hair had become extremely curly and frizzy over night and he did not bother fixing it.
He grabbed a lose fitting tank top and a pair of sweat pants. He shot himself a glance in the mirror, noting to himself he looked like he had been crying all night. He didn't care it was 5:45 am and wanted to go get coffee and breakfast in the cafeteria.
He reached the Entrance to the cafeteria and only saw a few people sitting in the farthest tables. Nobody would be here this early because they were all stressing about an upcoming exam.
He grabbed the biggest coffee and a soggy sandwich and thought about Eden. today was Saturday and he had not spoke to Eden since Thursday night. He wanted to see the older boy but he was busy with exams and he was quite cranky. He bit into the sandwich instantly tossing it back on the tray sending the contents of the sandwich every where.
"Uh excuse me" a voice came from beside him"
"What's you're problem! Get lost" he yelled without even looking at the person standing there
"Mei are you alright" the person sat down flicking little bit of sandwich from their shirt
The younger boy looked up notice Eden hovering over him with a gentle smile.
"Oh... Eden sorry I didn't know that was you" he said Instantly looking down at his tray.
He could not look at Eden without replaying what had happened Thursday in his mind. He thought about how Eden called him a kid. Did he really think that little of him?
"Mei are you sick?" Eden said with a concerned tone pointing to the large bags that had formed under the younger boys eyes
"I'm just tired...exams you know" Mei said feeling better because Eden cared.
"Oh I already did mine! Do you need help?" The older boy said
Without noticing it Mei violently shook his head in a yes motion
"Please..." Mei said grabbing Eden's hand
"Okay okay!" Eden laughed putting his hand over the smaller boys
Eden glanced at his watch it's only 6:30am we still have time before the exam to study!" As he stood up eyeing Mei's outfit.
"Ok lets go to my dorm" the younger boy said
"Mei before we go... I sorry you saw that on Thursday... I didn't mean to call you a kid..." the older boy said with a hand on the back of his neck
"No hard feelings, let's just forget about it" Mei said looking down
It hurt his feeling but he just wanted to enjoy Eden's company and did not say anything to ruin the moment.
The younger boy fiddled with the keys in the door before finally unlocking it. Eden was greeted with the most adorable room he had ever seen. His favourite part was the spider Man underwear that was on the floor. the younger boy was quick to walk in a hide theme.
"I don't have any food right now... but do you want something to drink?" The younger boy said in hopes of distracting the other.
