A/N
Unlike the previous one, this is just a kind of a filler chapter, an attempt to show the Yusufs from the perspective of others...

"Have you heard the latest news?" Jameela asked her mates, Fareeda and Nabeela.

"How could we possibly hear, when you're the 'ears' among us three?" Nabeela replied and they all burst out laughing.

The trio were on their way to the market and Jameela, who never let the day's gossip pass her by, was on the verge of disclosing another of her juicy gists.

"Fanna's Yusuf is dead." The talkative Jameela dropped the bomb and her two friends stopped in their tracks, flabbergasted.

"Are you serious?" Fareeda asked.

"Of course I am; you know I never give false information," Jameela reassured her.

"Wasn't it about a decade ago that his beloved Fanna died?" Nabeela asked.

"Yes," Jameela confirmed, "And he'd remained unmarried ever since..."

"...due to his undying love for his beloved!" Fareeda completed the statement.

"Exactly," Jameela confirmed.

"But what of his daughter?" Fareeda asked.

"Oh, that angel in human form..." Jameela began, "She's alive but no one seems to know the fate of the poor girl."

"That's so unfortunate." Nabeela lamented.

"It certainly is," Fareeda agreed.

"Left alone in this world at such a young age by her lovebird parents..." Nabeela began, "It's really unfortunate!"

"You know, I always thought their love was weird," Jameela noted, turning to her friends for support.

"I agree with you," Nabeela acquiesced "How could a man love one woman as if his life depended on it???"

At this point, they left the question hanging on air, thinking how queer the couple's love-life seemed in their part of the world.

"Well, may their souls rest in perfect peace!" Fareeda finally mustered up the courage to speak.

"Amin!" the other two chorused and continued their journey to the marketplace.
