Epilogue

Elijah's POV

( one year later )

To say I was anxious, was an understatement. I was beyond nervous. Today was the day that I would be marrying the person who I have loved for a long time. Demi Reed. I smile nervously into the mirror, straightening my bow tie. I don't know where life will take us after this but I was excited. I hear a knock on the door and glance over to see one of my friends walking in with the head vampire of the clan in the city. "Nicolas?" he smiles, walking up to me and I give him a hug. "I thought you weren't coming?" He shrugs, stepping back and fixing my suit for me. "I moved my plans to next week." I smile widely but the two vampires could see I was freaking out internally. "hey, calm down. Everything will be okay." I nod, taking a deep breath. I glance back over at the mirror. I had went with a blue tux with a white button up shirt and a blue bow tie. I run my fingers through my hair once more before following the two out the room. "You ready for this?" Olivia asks. She was wearing one of the bridesmaids dresses and she was actually my maid of honor. I nod once more and the music begins playing. I somehow ended up being the one to walk down the aisle. That is where Nicolas came in. He was going to walk me down, but he ended up not being able to because of a meeting. To see him here though, calmed my nerves down a lot. "Smile. You are about to see your love."

- Third Person POV -

Elijah James starts to walk down the aisle, still extremely nervous with his arm through Nicolas. He glances at both sides of the church, ironic much, and sees all of the smiling faces. A year had passed since that awful fight between both vampires and werewolves. Both races came to accept that it was not wrong for two to be together being a vampire or werewolf. This day, with elijah and Demi both getting married, would prove that there was nothing wrong for a vampire and a werewolf to be in love.

He reaches Demi and Nicolas hands him off. The vampire holds the werewolf's hands and looks into his eyes. "I love you", he whispers to his true love who smiles widely and whispers it back. "Today we have gathered here to marry Elijah James to Demi Reed.." as the wedding began it was like everything else went away. Elijah felt as if he was only standing there with the werewolf he fell in love with so many years ago. He still looked the same. Still had the heart of the boy who gave him a reason to be alive. Minutes passed and they were now having to give their vowels.

The vampire squeaked and tried to remember his vowels. "Demi Reed...um.. " he stutters and looks down at the ground. Demi puts a finger underneath his chin and lifts his face up to his. "You've got this," he whispers. Elijah nods and clears his throat to start again. "Demi Reed, at first I thought it was wrong for a vampire to be with a werewolf. I had been alive for two centuries then and no vampire accepted it. But you proved to me that it doesn't matter what race or gender you are to fall in love. I loved waking up and being beside you. You were one of the first not to question my ability to walk in the sunlight." Everyone chuckles at that, knowing that to be the truth. He smiles and continues, "When they took me from you, took us from each other, I was heartbroken. But you came stumbling back into my life after we both woke up and didn't have clue who each other were. That only had us falling in love with each other again. I will never lose you again. I will always and forever love you, Demi." Demi smiles widely, wiping away a few tears that fell.

Demi then clears his throat to start his vows. "Elijah James, at first sight, I thought you were rather different. Showing off your fancy clothes even in the eighties." Elijah laughs softly, squeezing Demi's hand lightly. "You were different. You didn't let other vampires control what you did. I was proved right when you finally let me kiss you and you didn't back away from me because I was a werewolf. You came back to me after all those years and after you were wiped of your memories the second time as well. I guess it is safe to say, you are my soul mate and I will not let you go because our love is timeless." The vampire looked the werewolf into the eyes with a huge smile and whispers I love you once again.

"Do you, Elijah James, take Demi Reed to be your husband?"

"I do." Demi slips the wedding ring onto Elijah's finger.

"Do you, Demi Reed, take elijah James to be your husband?"

"I do." Elijah slips the wedding ring onto Demi's finger.

"I now pronounce you two husband and husband. You may kiss the groom." Demi grabs elijah by the waist and kisses him on the lips. The whole church applauds and some yell with excitement. The two pull apart and put their foreheads against each other. "I love you," the blue eye man says to the other. The werewolf smiles sweetly and says, "I know." The vampire glares and pulls the boy down by his collar to kiss him once more.
