Acting

"Okay, I know I just gave you the assignment day before yesterday, but does anyone have it done?" Vincent asked us.

"I do." I open my purse to grab my printed essay. My phone angled so that I could see the screen. Veronica had called and texted me a lot since the meeting began, but I ignored it.

"Very well, Tiffiany." Vincent grabs my paper. "Anyone else?"

There was a few moments of silence before it got loud. Philp raced toward the only computer that was hooked up to the printer. He was followed by Sara, Steph, and then Mickey. Pushing and shoving was involed a lot.

There was a victorious shout; it was Sara. "Ha! I win!" Sara printed her paper and handed it in. The boys formed a line and printed/handed in their paper in a formal matter.

"Okay, you guys work fast." Vincent scoffed jokingly. "We will be taking a field trip tomorrow. So please where comfortable shoes and wear clothes for the weather." Vincent wrote on the board. "Okay! Let's begin our talk. Who wants to go first?"

Steph raised his hand. "I got the job yesterday. I work at Letter's and More." He explained what he had to do there and how he ran into me and the whole Zander thing.

"Woah, is that true, Tiffany?" Philp asked. I nodded and elaborated on what happened and how I got my job. "That's amazing!" Philp chuckled sincerely.

It was Sara's turn to speak. "Well, I'm an actress so it's just finding the roll is the hard part. I convinced my parents to let me act throughout the school year since we are all going to be Juniors. I then called my agent, and Philp and I are going to audtion for a T.V. show called Before You Go."

Vincent raised an eyebrow. "Philp, you going into the acting business?"

"Yep! Before You Go is about these group of teenagers and they have to, um, race around the world against time to save their family which were hold for ransom." Philp rambled. "I'm planning to audition for Hunter Bean, while Sara will audition for Nicky Dillan."

"Is there a part for me?" I asked jokingly.

"Sure. You could audition for Joy Kelper." Philp smiled widely.
My smile faltered a bit. I didn't really mean it. "I could, but I don't think I'm acting material." I let out a chuckle to let up the mood. Everybody else laughed too.

Later...

"Okay, remeber field trip tomorrow. Wear good clothes. You know, stuff like that." Vincent dissmissed us.

"Gosh, I'm starving!" Annouced Philp.

"We could go to Ground's Cafe. Since it's a little past one, it shouldn't be to busy." Mickey put his hands in his thin jacket.

Sara looked at looked at Mickey with glazed eyes of adoration. "That's a good idea."

"So, what do you think, Tiff?" Steph gives me a sideways stare.

"I would love to go there!" I clapped my hands together.

"Sounds like a date!" Mickey wooped, his gaze trained on Sara as he said it. I notice Sara turn a light shade of pink.

At Ground's Cafe...

"Ugh, that was a really good burger." I wiped my hands off with a napkin as the others did too.

"This should be our spot. You know," shrugged Steph. "After the meetings, we come here and eat lunch."

Everyone around the table agreed.
I notice Mickey and Sara flirting sutbly. A quick glance here and there. The light bickering of keeping on "your side". Other stuff like that. Steph and Philp look at me like how Sara and Mickey were doing it.
Just great! Well, at least it's only Shawn, Zac, Philp, and Steph trying to get to me.
