Few months later...
I let out a blood crudeling scream as I woke up from the same nightmare since the Zander thing. It was just a replay of what happened, but as I gain more control of the dream, the more things change.
Zac and Veronica stopped showing up and Zander got bolder with his actions. Its just a dream. Just a dream. I comb back my hair and looked at the clock. Great, three in the morning... At least its a Saturday.
Mom and Dad crashed into the room. "Sweetheart, you okay?" Mom wrapped me in a hug as Dad sat down at the end of the bed.
"Sorta. I had that nightmare again." I pulled my hair to one side and played with it.
"Is the threapy helping you?" Dad asked. I had been going to Dr. Carter. He was a little younger then Mom and Dad. I hated every mintue because I felt something was off but I continue to go because of my gut feeling.
"Yeah." I hated to admit it, but it did help. "I'm fine now. You guys can go back to sleep." Mom patted my back.
"Are you sure?" Dad bit back a yawn.
"Yeah, now go." I laughed a bit.
"Okay," Mom chuckled. "Only because you are making us. Not because we are tired as heck."
They leave and I flop back onto my bed. I checked my phone. I got dozens of messages from my friends, including Vincent, Veronica, Zac, and Shawn. They all said the usual.
"Feeling better? Blah, blah, blah." I muttered as read Steph's message. I get the first few weeks of them asking if I was okay, but its November now. How can I get pass this Zander thing if they keep asking if I was okay?
I try going back to sleep, but it was useless. I got up and grabbed my laptop to work on the script for school.
In Hollywood High, we learn all the areas. This week's assignment was to make a script. Then we are assigned into groups of eight. We choose someone's script and make it into a movie.
By 5 A.M., I was half ways done with writing my script. My phone buzzed. It was Shawn.------
(This is now Veronica's POV)"You can't do that, V! She'd be ruined!" Shawn stared at me in disbelief.
"Oh. Yes. I. Can." I smirked as I gripped my pink cell phone. "You're gonna stop hanging out with her - which includes talking in any form - unless I say you can. This also goes for Zac!" I looked at my ex-boyfriend.
"Stop this now, Veronica! Are you really that jealous that I was going - did - break up with you so that I could ask out Tiffany?" Zac pointed a finger at me.
"No." I checked out my baby blue nails then looked up at Zac's quzzical face. "I'm doing this because you flirted with her while we were dating." I turn to Shawn. "And I'm doing this because you're baby-ing Tiff."
"You don't have the right to do this!" Seethed Shawn.
"No one asked me how I was." I stared daggers in Shawn's eyes.
Zac butted in. "We did too!"
"What, for a couple days?" I feel a lump form in my throat but I refused to show my weakness. "Do it now, Shawn. Or everyone will know that when she was 12, Tiffany pushed over an old lady!" I waved my phone by my head.
"That's not the full story! You left out the most important part that Tiff was helping her neighbor across the road when she accidently hit the lady in the face. Read the report that you some how managed to get!" Zac got in my face. I don't flinch. The early morning light seeped in my room casting a light shadow on Zac's face, bringing his bright brown eyes out.
"Well, the press will write what I tell them to write." I smirked.
"You're wicked!" Shawn shakes his head.
"Go on Shawn, text Tiffany that you can't hang out anymore. That you don't want to speak to her because how annoying she is. Break her heart. Her soul." I walk towards Shawn with a burst of confidence.
"You bitch." Shawn muttered as he pulled out his phone in submission to break the poor girl's heart. I give a cold smile.
"Why are you doing this?" Zac ask.
"Oh fuck you, Zac! I already told you. I'm not getting the attention like Tiff is. Zander broke into my house! My room!" I was about to continue to explain, but I knew it would be useless. They would always take Tiffany's side. "You know what! Screw it! I am not explaining something like this to you!"
"Are you ser-" Zac was about to counter my outburst.
"Shut up!" Zac shut his trap right away. "You are going to text Tiffany that you can't hang out with her. Be brutal!" I smirked.
"How do you think she would react?" Zac glared at me as he pulled out his phone.
"Very hurt. Lonely. But that's where I come in. I will become her best friend." My smirk grew bigger. "Tell anyone about this big ordeal, I will send this out." I once again shake my phone to indicate that I have the power to control them.
Shawn and Zac clenched their jaws and began to text their "prize possession", Tiffany.-----
(Back to Tiffany's POV)I look at Shawn's text in disbelief. "Hey, we shouldn't hang out anymore. Ur really annoying me with the recent thing and I cant take it. I regret everything, even typing this to u makes me want to throw up my internal organs. I hated the limited time we had together. Im glad its over now. -S.M." Shawn? My phone buzzes again. Another message, this time from Zac.
"Ugh, live 4 now? Plan the future? What was I thinking? So fucking stupid! Like you! I cant belive that we even hung out! Hope you can forgive yourself for causing me to waste my time. -Z.T."
Zac? Well, Monday is going to be pleasant.
I decided to grab something to eat and think over what just happened.End of Chapter 12
