One week later
Melodie POV
Today was laundry day so I was on my way to the laundromat. I looked in my rearview mirror and asked my now one month old daughter you ready to help mommy with the laundry. She made cooing noises. I laughed and said that's Mommy's girl.
I pulled into the parking lot of the laundromat and got out. I grabbed the basket and laundry detergent sat them next to the car. Then I unbuckled the car seat and grabbed my purse and Novah's diaper bag. I balanced the car seat on top of the basket and attempted to carry it all. But I couldn't. I decided to sit the car seat inside then come back for the basket. I did that. I then took out my baby carrier and put Novah in it.
I started to separate me and Novah's clothes and hummed while I did it. Novah slowly drifted off to sleep.
As the clothes washed I took the car seat back to the car and I grabbed my phone. I went back into the laundromat and started taking pics of me and Novah as she slept on me. I posted one to Instagram #MySleepingBeauty #Laundyday #Mommy&Daughter
I closed out of my app as I heard the laundromat door closed as I looked to see who it was. I can't believe my eyes of who it was...........
