I can't believe he's here. I quickly turned my head before he noticed me but it was to late. Melodie he said. I was like hey Nova. He said umm hey is all you can say. I texted you a week ago and you couldn't respond. I'm like no he didn't. After I texted him for a week straight after he took my virginity and never thought to check on me and what not. I thought about going off on him but I decided against it because one my baby girl was sleeping right on my chest. And two I didn't have time for the drama. So I just turned my head and started to focus on my baby I hope she sleeps a while so he doesn't hear her or no about her.

Nova POV
For the past year I couldn't get Melodie out of my head. The night that we shared together was the best night ever.
Flash back
I was rushing to my momma's house cause she needed help with something as I was rushing I bumped into the Beautiful girl she was about 5'4 brown skin shoulder length hair and a body to die for. She was like damn watch.... Then she looked up at me and began to stare after a minute I was like it's not polite to stare ma. She started to blush and was like I'm sorry I'm Melodie. I said my bad Melodie. She said it's cool. Even tho I knew she wanted to punch me in my face. She then asked me if I was going to the party. I told I had to do something and to give me her number so I could meet up with her when I was done. You could tell she was hesitant at first but she finally broke down and gave it to me. I gave her mine and said by the way I'm Nova. She was like well hope to see you later Nova. I said you well ma save me a dance. She blushed and said I will. Then I walked away. I smiled as I walked to my car I got in and drove to my mom's house. I walked in and yelled ma. She was like what boy? Didn't I tell your ass to stop yelling in my house. I apologized and asked her what she needed. She said she just wanted to see me and tell me that she was going on a cruise and wanted me to keep an eye on her house I told her no problem. I gave my mom a hug and a kiss and I left to go back to the party. I walked into the party in search for Melodie. I seen her dancing and having a good time. So I snuck up behind her and wrapped my arms around her waist. I said to her you still owe me a dance ma. She turned and looked at me. She said indeed I do.. We stood there in silence for a good ten minutes. Until I grabbed her hand and led her to the dance floor. Beyonce's Dance for you came on and she started winding her hips and dancing on me. By the end of the song we were face to face and my hand cupping her right butt cheek. She smiled and put her head down. I lifted her head up and said never put your head down ma show that Beautiful smile. Which made her blush more and she started to put her head down but I caught it this time and then I kissed her. At first she was hesitant to kiss back then she did and the kiss got heated fast. When we finally broke the kiss she blushed so hard. It made me chuckle a little. I whispered in her ear and asked her if I wanted to take a ride. She shook my head yes. And went to tell her friend I guess that she was leaving. We reached my car and got in. We drove around and got to know each other. We drove to the Pierre and got on top of the car and looked up at the stars and continued to talk. As we were talking I sat up and stared at Melodie and she looked up at me and said you know it's not very polite to stare. I chuckled and leaned down to kiss her.i swear this girl has the softest lips man. She actually kissed back of course with out hesitation. Then one thing lead to another and you know what happened after that.

That was the last time I talked to her. I lost my phone two days later when I was moving and I just found my phone and charged it up and I a shit load of messages from Melodie. I took a chance and texted her back. But no response. I knew she read because we both have iPhones and you know when the message is read. I was like damn I messed up big time.
Now we fast forward to today. I had to laundry I put it off for way to long so I gather my things to go to laundromat. I got there and walked in I saw this girl sitting there with her back towards me but she was looking she tried to turn her head but I saw who it was. It was Melodie. I said Melodie. She was like hey. I was like umm hey is all you can say. I texted you like week ago and you couldn't respond. It looked like she wanted to say something but she just turned her head. I walked away and put my stuff in the washing machine.
