The Secret She Kept​

When I woke I had Novah laying on me in an unfamiliar room. Then I remembered that I was at Nova's house. I moved Novah onto a pillow and answered my vibrating phone it was my job and they were wondering if I could come in today. I told them yes to give me an hour to find a babysitter and then I'll be in. I had to pee so I went and knockedon the bathroom door lightly. Nova opened the door. I looked up at him. He said what's up I told him I had to pee then I asked him if he could watch Novah cause my job called me into work.  He said yes and walked out the bathroom so I could use it.

I finished up and walked out the bathroom to see Nova trying to wake up a sleeping Novah once he got her up he said hey daddy's princess. It made me smile. He looked her and said my goodness you look your mother. I guess he didnt here me come out the bathroom when he was waking her and I spoke up and said well I did carry her for seven and half months. He looked at me funny. I looked at and said yeah I know I'm supposed to carry her for nine but she wanted to come out early. But if you don't believe me DNA is still an option. I don't want you to feel obligated to care for and your having mixed feelings. I want you to be a hundred percent sure about this she said looking me straight in the eyes. He looked at me and said if I wasn't a hundred percent sure I would have asked you for one. I trust you Melodie. Don't think I didn't know you were a virgin when did what we did. I looked at him in disbelief. He signed and grabbed my hand. He told me to look at him. I did. He said look Mel it's okay that you were one and I respected you for that. I also respect you for letting me come into our daughters life like you did after all that time I wasn't around. I looked at him with tears in my eyes. He told me not to cry and pulled me in for a hug. I looked at him and then down at my phone. I told him that I had to get to work and that I had three bags of pumped milk in the fridge that I  brought over. And that they should last until I gets off. He nodded his head. I gave Novah a kiss on the forehead and told her that I  loved her. I gave Nova a side hug cause he had the baby and a kiss on the cheek and thanked him. He told me that i don't have to thank him for being a father.  I smiled and walked out of the room. I turned around and said if you need me for anything just text or call. He nodded my head and I left.

On my way to work I stopped by my house to change and pumped so my boobs won't be sore. I showered and left for work.
