•Josh’s POV•
I wake up laying on the futon. I look around for a minute. Jen is nowhere to be found. I reach for my phone and check the time, but I have a text message from Jen.
“Hey Josh, I just wanted to let you know I left after the movie ended and didn’t want to wake you up. Text me when your up, thanks.”
I lay looking at the ceiling trying to process what happened last night. Did Jen and I actually do that stuff, or was I dreaming. Then I start thinking about dinner and wonder if I was dreaming that too.
After a few minutes of hard thinking, I’m almost positive I was just dreaming after all. I text Jen back telling her I’m up. I stand up from the futon feeling a little dizzy. I still can’t believe I actually dreamt that. This means Claudia and I are still together, and Jen is still dating Nick. I go into a panic.
“What do I do, what do I do.” I say to myself. I decide to take a nice refreshing shower to try and get my mind off of things. I’m not even sure how I would dream that, I mean Jen texted me saying we watched a movie.
I step into the freezing cold shower and thats when everything falls into place. I remember it had been a long day on set and at the end of the day Jen wanted to watch a movie with me, so we did but I drank about 12 cans of bud light to try to stop myself from feeling tired. I’m so stupid. I don’t think I ever want to drink another sip of alcohol ever again. The things it can do you are shocking.
After stepping out of the refreshing shower, I get ready to go meet up with Jen and Sam for some breakfast. I text them in a group chat and we decide to meet at Jen’s trailer. I rush over so I can privately talk to her about my dream but Sam arrives at about the same time as me.
“Hey Sam,” I say waving to him as he meets me by the steps that lead to the trailer.
“Hey, I heard you got pretty wasted last night,” he says to me smirking.
“Oh my god, don’t remind me,” I say to him laughing a bit.
“You don’t even want to know what I dreamt, it was the weirdest thing,” I say.
“What was it?” he asks but Jen opens the door walking out of the trailer wearing a grey sweater with blue jeans. She looks absolutely gorgeous.
“I’ll tell you about it later,” I say to Sam.
“Tell him what?” Jen says grabbing my attention once again.
“His weird dream,” Sam replies for me.
“Oh, I want to hear,” she says.
“I’ll tell you guys later, meet me at my trailer after we film today, and please don’t bring anyone. It’s the most freakiest thing and I don't want it spreading around,” I say.
“Must have been a really weird dream,” Jen says with a laugh. I just smile and nod to her.
We reach the snack table that holds our breakfast food. I grab a bowl of mini wheats cereal and milk, with a banana and cinnamon roll. I sit at the round table that has four seats. Sam and Jennifer sit down right after me and we eat in silence.
We finish filming around 5:30. Jen, Sam, and I decide to shower and change before we hanging out in my trailer.
As soon as I’m out of the shower and changed I hear a knock on the door. I walk over and see Sam and Jen waiting for me to open up.
“Hey guys,” I say opening the door.
“Hey,” they say in unison, then looking at each other and we all laugh. They walk in and we sit on the futon.
“So, that dream” Sam says looking at me.
“Okay, to be honest here I have absolutely no idea if any of this really happened but I dreamt Claudia and I broke up,”
“That’s real,” Sam says.
“And Nick broke up with Jen,”
“That real too,” Jen says.
“And we kissed under a table and said stuff from Romeo and Juliet,” I say and Jen and Sam burst into laughter.
“That’s not real,” Jen says.
“And you and Sam kissed,” I say trying to keep going and see what is real or not. They stop laughing.
“What did that actually happen?” I ask with all seriousness.
“Uhhhh….” Jen says not saying anything else.
“Yeah, it did,” Sam says.
“Oh, okay, and then Jen came to my trailer and we watched White Chicks,”
“Real,” Jen says but she is no longer smiling because of her and Sam kissing. I can’t believed they kissed.
“Then, you kinda sat on my lap and almost touch my junk and we made out and stuff and then Woody came over,” I say looking down.
“Not real, but Woody was looking for you last night. I told him you were wasted and couldn’t move,” Jen says but I don’t look up at her because my eyes are fixated on a piece of a chip on the floor.
“Oh, okay. But wasn’t that the weirdest thing?” I ask them. I get no answer. I look up and see Sam and Jen kissing.
