•Josh’s POV•
I begin to get worried because Jen and Sam have been gone for over 3 minutes. I begin to suck the juice out of my lemon slice when I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket. It’s Jen.
“Hello?” I say.
“You need to come to the family bathroom. Sam and I really have to talk to you, it’s super important!” She says with a loud whisper into the phone.
“Okay, I’ll be there in a sec.” I say.
“You need to disguise yourself!”
“Okay, see you in a sec.” I say hanging up the phone. I slip on some sunglasses and a hat.
“I’ll be right back.” I say lifting myself from my chair. I walk out of the room and head to the family bathroom. I knock on the door and Sam opens it immediately, quickly pulling me in and locking it again.
“Woah, whats going on?” I say very confused.
“Sam and I kissed,” Jen says quickly, looking really guilty.
“What, why?” I say even more confused and begin to get angry.
“Because of Nick. I was only backing her up and panicked, so I told Nick we were dating but he didn’t believe me so we kissed,” Sam says in the same tone as Jen, very quickly.
“What do we do?” I say breathing out all the energy that was bunched up in my chest.
“Josh, paparazzi got pictures! Now they have pictures with you and I and Sam and I, and Nick still loves me! Their isn’t much we can do.” She says with tears forming in her eyes, panicking.
“It’s okay. All we need to do is tell the paparazzi the truth and tell Nick that Sam was just backing you up since I wasn't with you.” I say looking into her eye, which are now streaming with tears.
“Okay.” She says.
“I’ll tell the paparazzi, if you would like,” Sam kindly says.
“Thank you.” Jen replies hugging both him and I. We all walk out of the bathroom together with sunglasses on so we aren’t noticed. Sam takes off his glasses and slips them into his pants pocket. He takes a glass and spoon off a table and stands on a chair while hitting the spoon to the glass.
“Can I please have your attention?” Sam says loudly. The room floods with gasps.
“I just wanted to say this whole thing was a huge misunderstanding. Jennifer Lawrence is no longer dating Nicholas Hoult.” He speaks to the whole room and I hear even more gasps and see many flashes.
“I also need to make it clear that Jen and I aren’t dating either. We did kiss but I was just trying to help out a good friends.” He says gesturing to Jen. The restaurant goes silent for a few seconds, but Sam finally finishes.
“Thank you for understanding.” He says stepping down and joining back with us.
“I think we should go back to the bathroom and call someone to bring us different disguises so we aren’t followed to the private room.” I say.
“Okay.” Sam says. We all walk back to the bathroom but decide that we should use it so go into the separate rooms then decide to meet in the family bathroom.
When Jen, Sam, and I have finally met up together in the bathroom we decide to call Francis and tell him to bring us some stuff to disguise ourselves so the paparazzi doesn’t recognize us. I dial the number and speak to hime quietly.
“Hey Francis, it’s Josh. Jen, Sam, and I are all trapped in the family bathroom and we were wondering if you could bring us some stuff to disguise ourselves from the paparazzi.”
“Sure. I’ll be their in just a sec.” He says and the call ends. We all pace back and forth in the bathroom for about three minutes until we hear a nock on the door. Sam unlocks the door and Francis walks in with three scarfs and snap backs.
“Thank you so much!” I say taking a blue scarf and green hat.
“No problem!” he reply’s back. We all have our scarfs and hats on so we quickly exit out of the bathroom.
We are right outside the private room when Jen falls and pulls me down with her. We laugh hysterically.
“Oh my god, I’m so sorry!” she says with tears on her face from laughing so hard.
“It’s fine!” I say back holding down my laughter.
•Jen’s POV•
We are just outside of the private room when I stumble on the leg of a table and grab onto Josh so I don’t fall but he ends up tumbling down. We can’t help but laugh and I notice Sam and Francis are smirking and are holding down their laughter.
“Oh my god, I’m so sorry!” I say apologize to Josh with tears streaming down my face from laughing so hysterically.
“It’s fine!” He says smiling, trying to hold down his laughter. He stands up and gives me his hand and helps me up.
“Thanks.” I say smiling at him and wiping the tears of joy from my face. He returns a smile back.
“So Jen, I hear you had a nice trip last fall.” Sam says trying to sound funny. Josh and Francis laugh at the joke.
“Ha ha ha, very funny,” I say with a smirk. We walk back into the room and see our new waiter is taking orders on what we would like for dinner. Josh pulls out my seat and I sit down. The waiter is taking Jena’s order. I can’t help but notice the way they look at each other, but he seems so young of her. Maybe he’s older than he looks.
The waiter makes his way around the table and finally reaches Josh, Liam, and I.
We all order our dinner when I notice Jena making her way over.
“Hey!” she says.
“Hi!” I reply back, smiling.
“I just got that guys number!”
“Good for you! He looks really young, though,”
“Actually we are the same age, and he’s really nice!”
“Congrats!” I say giving he a high five.
“Well, I’m heading for the bathroom, so I’ll talk later,” she says pointing towards the door.
“Okay, bye!” I say smiling. I’m happy for Jena but I’m just not sure how I’m going to tell her about Josh, or anyone for that matter. I feel really bad but I think it’s best if it does;t get out their.
