When I wake up, I find myself laying across the futon with Jen and Sam right beside me. I look at Jen who is on her phone, and then to Sam who’s eyes are closed, his lips parted, and drool dripping down his chin. I let out a tiny laugh because the sight of that makes me laugh. Jen taps me on the shoulder and raises her eyebrows. I give a smirk back and know exactly what she’s thinking. We stand up and head into the bathroom and I grab some shaving cream.
“Go get a feather out of the pillow next to Sam,” I say to Jen. I have the shaving cream and Jen and I walk to Sam. She gets the feather and I squirt some shaving cream into both of his hands. Jen takes the feather and touches it to his ear. The shaving cream on his left hand smears all over the side of his face and I spray him with the shaving cream a few time. Jen and I are laughing hysterically but Sam doesn’t join in. He stays still, smirking with a tomato-red face.
“What was that for?!”
“Just cause,” Jen says catching her breath from laughing so hard.
“Well, I’m going back to my trailer to clean up. I’ll meet you guys at breakfast.” Sam says getting up from the futon and walking toward the door.
As Jen and I sit down at a table to eat, I see Sam walking wearing clean clothes, and his hair is damp. I wave him over and pat the seat next to me.
“Hey,” Sam says placing his tray on the table.
“I see you cleaned up,” I smirk at him.
“What?”
“Oh, nothing.” I reply, winking at Jen, signaling for us to get our cherry launchers ready. I hold up my 3 fingers and mouth “Three… two… one” and Jen’s first launch lands right in Sam’s cereal. He scowls as she celebrates.
“Boo yah!”
“What was that for?” Sam says, almost shouting.
“Just cause,” Jen says smirking at him. I can’t help but laugh, but when Sam scowls at me it turns into a coughing fit.
“What the hell, I’m—”
“Its not like it shot at your face, please calm down,”
“Fine, but just expect a little something in your trailer later,” Sam says smirking and taking a sip from his water bottle.
I walk with Jen to her trailer to see what Sam put up. When we get there the door is slightly ajar and she pushes it open to see Sam and Liam hanging a bucket above the door which spills on both of them. Jen looks over her shoulder to me, laughing, and I start laughing so hard that tears are in my eyes.
“Okay… that was an… accident,” Jen says taking breaths in between because she’s still laughing. “See, you guys… can’t mess with me… I’m like a ninja.”
That comment makes me practically fall on the ground. Nows I’m passed hysterical laughter, it sounds like I’m screaming.
Sam, Liam, Jen, and I clean up the water the went all over the floor. After we finish it’s noon time so Jen and I decided to go for a walk.
“So, did you really dream all that stuff, about you know…” She pauses for a moment. “Us together.” I look up at her eyes, which are a glassy blue-green. I nod my head slightly as a response.
“Really? I dreamt about us together a few nights ago.” She replies quietly.
“You did?”
“Yup, but it was the weirdest thing. I was standing on a cliff, about to jump off and when I did it changed into my old elementary school and our fingers were entwined as we dropped our kids off for school.” My lips begin to curl at the ends and soon I have a big grin on my face.
“How many kids?”
She laughs and says, “Three, two girls and a boy.” Then I begin to think, what if we actually ended up having kids, and getting married. My eyes are still attached to hers. Her hair is sticking up in places, making me laugh. I flatten the down, and this is the moment that I truly fall in love with Jen, in reality.
•I’m so sorry for not updating in so long! I’ve been super busy with school and I’m trying to get that ‘Bikini Ready Body’ for summer. Sorry this chapter is boring, I’ve also been having writers block.
