~(Y/N) pov~

I was running to class because I was going to be late if I didn't. Why, you ask? Well... maybe this little flash back will answer your question.

~flash back~

"(Y/N)! PLEEEAAASSSEEEE!!!!!!" Begged a certain young girl with blue eyes.
"Blue, I already told you no! If you want to go cloth shopping do it with Crystal or someone else!" To be honest. You didn't like to go cloth shopping. It was boring and it waisted all your energy, which half of it was spent on school. And you had plans to hang out with Ruby and Sapphire after school. But blue, being blue, wouldn't give up that easily.
"But (YYYYYYYY/NNNNNNNNN)!!!! You're my new friend! And if you want to become best friends then you have to hang out with me!" Blue half pleaded, half demanded.
"Look. If you want to hang out after school then I'll talk to Ruby and Sapphire about letting you hang out with us. And there is a 50/50 chance you'll be able to go shopping at the mall. If, at least, one of them agree." You stated, not really wanting to go shopping but this was Blue you're talking about.
"YAY!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH, (Y/N)! You're the best!"
"Thanks blue. But now we're going to be late to our next class if we don't hurry."
"Oh! Right!"

~end of flash back~

So there you have it. That's the reason I'm late.

~Authors pov~

Gee. I'm talking to myself like a crazy lady. (Y/N) says in her head. "I'm not going to make it." She panicked for a second; making her legs run even faster.
Big mistake.
"Ah!" She runs into someone and falls an her ankle wrong. "Ow.." you mumble.
"ARE YOU OK?!?!" A sorta familiar voice yell/asks.
"Yeah..." you say with pain dripping off you voice.
"Here." He offers his hand.
"Thanks..." you mumble. Still not looking at the boy.
"Hay. You ok?" He asks in a concern voice.
"Yeah." You say, putting pressure on your ankle. 'Nope.' You body "says" to your brain. And you fall but a pair of strong arms catch you, causing you to blue a bit.
"I don't really think you should walk..." he says quietly.
"No duh Sherlock." You say in an annoyed tone.
"Sorry.." he mumbles.
Maybe I should actually look at him. I mean... that's the normal thing to do. You say to yourself, looking up. You jump slightly as you realize it was gold... he was cute, you had to admit but that doesn't mean you have a crush on him and you're positive about that. Gold chuckles at your reaction.
"So you do know me." He said with a smirk plastered on his face.
"Oh, shut up." You say with a displeased look on your face.
"Hay. No need to be like that."
"I have a need of my own pleasure." He smirks. That did sound a little sexual. You admired to yourself.
"Hay. You should probably go to the nurses office."
"Yeah... that would be smart." You say with a tiny smile.
"I'll help you." He says with a the most childish grin.
"Thanks but I don't need it." Gold pouts but then grins. I have a bad feeling about this... you say to yourself. You were trying to figure out what he was going to do but your thoughts were interrupted by him tossing you over his shoulder and puts an arm around your waist to make sure you didn't fall and get more hurt.
"H-Hay! Put me down!" You yell at him but he ignores you. "I said put me down!"
"If you want to drag more attention to us then keep shouting." He said like he had no worry in the world.
"Hmph. At least I'm light... it seems..." you mumble to yourself.
"Yeah." He says. And you jump slightly, not expecting him to hear you. "Heheh. Weren't expecting me to hear?" He says with a smug smirk.
He can read minds. You convinced yourself.
"Anyways. We're here." He said, carefully putting you down.
You waited a few minutes for him to leave but he didn't.
What was up with him? You wondered in your head as you tilt you head to the side in confusion.
".... I'm not leaving till I hear you'll be fine." He said with a poker face.
"You can leave. It's not like it's broken." You notice his poker face turned into a panicked and worried expression. He then started to pace and mumble to himself as you sweat drop at his actions.

"Uh... sorry to get you all worried like that.." you tell him after he had calmed down and nurse joy had checked your foot.
"It's fine" the golden eyed boy says wile looking away in embarrassment.
"You'll be fine, ms. (L/N). You just need to be off it for today and it'll be better in the morning." Nurse joy assured the (H/C) girl.
"That's a relief.. if feel horrible if you had a serious injury, knowing it would be all me fault..." Gold sadly says.
(Y/N) laughs, catching both Gold and Nurse Joy off guard. "It wouldn't be your fault, Gold. It would be mine if any. I'm the one who ran into you."
"Yeah but still..." he mumbles. (Y/N) sighs and tries to get up. "No! You're not supposed to put pressure on it!" The jet black haired boy says in a frantic tone.
"How am I supposed to get to my next class then?" You state.
"1. You are NOT going to class. And 2. I'm going to take you home." Gold says with that tone that says 'I'm not going to change my mind even if you try.' So (Y/N) decides to not even try.
As soon as Gold picks (Y/N) up, bridal style, Eevee starts growling in her pokeball.
"Oh, hush, Eevee. It's fine." (Y/N) says to her shiny friend, inside the pokeball.
"Hm?" Gold sorta questions.
"Oh.. I'm just talking to my Pokémon..." you sorta mumble. He just chuckles at you. "Hay! What's so funny!?"
"You~" he coos.
"Oh, shut up!" (Y/N) said, having the temptation of punching him.
Gold laughs. "You're cute, you know." He says and makes you blush slightly at the compliment.
"Just keep walking." You huff.
"Ok." Gold says with a chuckle as you two walk down the sidewalk. Well.. it's more of, Gold walks down the sidewalk wile carrying you.
