Battle with Crystal

I'm not dead I swear but I don't know how to make the chapters more interesting and long. I haven't had any ideas yet but here's what I got. ALSO, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR 2.06k views/reads!

~Your POV~

I feel bad for leaving Blue like that but I had to get going. I promised Crys that I would hang out with her today and I didn't want to break that promise. I'm new to this town and I didn't want to come off as mean or I abandoned her. "Ah! Eevee! That scared me!" Geez, Eevee just came out of nowhere. At least I have my partner on my shoulder again.

We arrived at Crystals house a few minutes later. I was completely out of breath from running and my legs felt like jello... Eevee pawed at the door and looked up at me. I nodded and knocked on the door. There was yelling on the other side, which worried me a bit. I peered through the doors glass window and then the door opens. "Hello!" Crystal says cheerfully.
"What was-" I was about to ask.
"Oh! Nothing! Just... you'll see!" She says with a twinkle in her eyes. I was confused but just shrugs it off. Eevee hops back onto my shoulder and Crystal grabs her poke balls. "Today we are going to train." She says. I was a bit worried cause Eevee has only been in a few battle through our years together. So I didn't know how well she would hold up.
"Okay.." I say with hesitation. Crystal didn't catch that I guess, or she ignored it, cause she grabbed my arm and runs off.

We get to the battle arena near the Pokémon center. Crystal runs to the other side and faces me, "Now lets get a battle going!" She says with enthusiasm. She throws her pokeball out and a Houndour pops out. Eevee hops down to the field and looks excited to battle.

Let The Battle Begin!

"Houndour use crunch!" Crystal commands her partner.
"Counter with swift!" I shout and Eevee responds. The two moves counter and the two Pokémon land safely on the ground. "Use Quick attack!" I tell Eevee. She does as said and Houndour gets hit, shaking off the attack.
"Use Crunch again!" Crystal commands and Houndour does as said, hitting Eevee and Eevee stumbled back. "Quick attack!" She says and Houndour hits Eevee again.
"Swift!" I say. Eevee uses swift and the Houndour dodges the attack. "Dang.." I think, "this Houndour is fast.."
"Houndour, finish it off with ember!" She says.
"Quick attack to dodge!" I says quickly and Eevee dodges the move. "Use Quick attack!" Eevee does as I say and she lands a hit on Houndour. But Crystal uses the opportunity to command Houndour to use ember when Eevee is close, landing the hit and Eevee faints.
"You did good Eevee..." I say as I pick her up.
"Good battle!" Crystal said wile returning her Houndour. "Let's go heal our Pokémon." She says with a smile. I nod and carry Eevee to the Pokémon center. I always feel better when I hold Eevee. It's comforting, even if she is fainted.
Once we get to the Pokémon center, we give Nurse Joy our Pokémon and we wait for them.
"Your Houndour is fast..." I tell Crystal.
"Thanks! We've trained for that." She responds, "And you and Eevee did really good!" She compliments. I smile and hank her before Nurse Joy calls us to pick up our Pokémon. Eevee hops right on my shoulder as we walk home with Crystal.
"Lets battle again sometime!" She says as we approach my house. I nod and wave goodbye.
I watch as she leaves and sign, "it's been a wile since we had a battle like that... Well... it's time to get ready for the night, Eevee." I tell my small Eevee.
Eevee nods in response and nuzzles my cheek, "Eevee~!" She says and I smile. We walk inside and get ready for bed after we eat. I walk to my room and sit on the bed. "Eevee... I know we just got here but are you happy here?" I ask my partner. Eevee looks at me for a second before responding.
"Eevee~~!" She says with delight. I smile at her and lay down, covering myself with the blankets. Eevee hops up and snuggles right next to me. I pet her a few times then drift off to sleep.

Hay, I was wondering, in later chapters do you guys want Eevee to evolve? And what do you want the next Pokémon you capture to be? And if you want Eevee to evolve, what Eeveelution? Doesn't have to be cannon but if you do suggest a non cannon one please add a picture. I will be seeing what is the most popular choice and choose that.
